Nix, no he isn't. Do you see Zelda, or other game series forums bustling with activities, art contests, rp writing, geopolitical, surrealistic, ideological debates and other crap? It's same everywhere. Communities don't have to go bat shit insane and flood the forums every day.

Let's also not forget that FF games take a very long time (compared to other games) to make and they have shifted course from their usual, more classic, turn based rpg style so don't expect the audience to always be as big as other games.

Actually some Zelda sites did go ape shit over the weekend. My roommate who runs a Zelda site and a general gaming website had about 100k+ visitors a day on his site for that announcement alone and he's getting more and more visitors and members daily because of it. He makes a living off these 2 sites.

The crazy thing I thought was, his general gaming site got more visitors than the Zelda site.
