As for lifting, mainly curling, this weird thing where I stand up, hold a weight to my side with my hand facing forward and bring it up. Then I do over the head tricep lift thingies,

Hmm, front raises isn't quite it. Imagine I'm facing you, my arms are straight out as if i were to make a T, but my elbow is bend and my fist is facing the ground. Kinda like that. Idk, I've never actually looked up stuff, besides forearm exercises.
