Your PS3 isn't backwards compatible with PSOne games?

I lost a ring... and I must have lost it outside the house somewhere. This time last year, I decorated my room, so I went through everything when moving my furniture into my grandmother's room. When I say everything, I certainly mean it, but still couldn't find my ring.

When Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness came out, I bought the concept art book... I remember giving it to my mum because she wanted to test out her new scanner at the time and wanted the front cover, and I never saw it again. She's searched her room, I've searched mine, and to no avail.

Also, I've lost my copy of Final Fantasy VIII. It couldn't have left my room because there would be no other room to play it in, - all the Playstation consoles are in my bedroom.

Your PS3 isn't backwards compatible with PSOne games?

I just discovered that it is compatible with PSOne games but I had just never tried them because my PS2 discs didn't work. It was a wonderful surprise considering I thought I wouldn't be able to play at all. Now I'm looking into getting the accessory to transfer all my files from my memory cards to my PS3 Hard Drive and I'll be set to go
