It was a bit too easy and something is missing.
After looking through various forums of posts by the Grngecko himself, it is obvious the obsession with Lord Of Teh Rings and Edgar Allen Poe. But as of yet all I have come up with is a headache.

I have tried various ROTR cyphers and tried nearly every possible combination of events. People have been trying this for 2 years.

So it makes me think more and more that it's a Herring.
