I do a little bit of gambling, got into it because on my high school baseball teams a lot of the weekend in the fall when we weren't playing every weekend we would get together and play some Texas Hold'em. Even in college ball when we were in hotels during road trips the times that we had off we would organize in a room or two and play Hold'em for a couple of hours. When I go to the casino though I stay away from the slots, I just feel like that is just flushing money down the toilet lol, Not saying that Hold'em isn't based on luck as well but I get to play the other players at the table and have different strategies so I know luck is definitely involved, like it is with any gambling, but I at least feel like I could tilt the tables a little in my favor at the poker table instead of at the slots.
