As a rper from back in the day, I would love to see some proper guidence go into the rping section in general and having factions or clans if you prefer would (In my opinion) do just that.

I am all for the faction idea but I have a question.

1st, who can start a faction?
2nd, do these factions have to be themed? (Ex. Shinra would be an FFVII faction)

I like the idea but I think we really have to plan this out. I also second to use of the TFF world thread for factions, I do agree and think that it will cause for less clutter in the rp section.

1. Anyone, yet there are standards.
2. They can be whatever you want, though they do need to have a purpose and end goal. That is limited, however, to people who might want to create "spam factions" that don't do shit. Hence why all factions must be approved.
