Why just go to the website support page of the company (squareeme hint hint) that sold you the game and contact their support line/email of course!
Or if you're looking for a bit of fun, why not guess the rest of the numbers? Go on! give it a go!
Hi!
My product key (FFXIV) is like this: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
But when i login to Square enix and when i try to add my game the product key they want is different.
Choose code type:
1. XXXXXX - 000 - XXXXXX - 000 (6 letters + 3 digits + 6 letters + 3 digits)
2. XXXXXXXX - 0000 (8 letters + 4 digits)
Im really confused :sour: what should i do ?

I believe it had something to do with the restructuring of the website or something. I had a few games registered under my name back when I first got them. Then several months later, the site was very different than it had been before. And the games I had already registered were no longer there. I tried re-registering them, but I had the same problem as you did and couldn't because it was a different input system.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything you can do to change it. You could try contacting Square Enix's support staff for more information. But I don't think they can retroactively register your game for you.
Social Group Endorsements, TFF Awards, and Other Accomplishments (Updated December 26, 2013):
The place you'll want to go to register your code I'm pretty sure is the Mogstation, where you manage your subscription and access to different parts of FFXIV. https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...est=mogstation Try going there, inside there should be a place to activate your code. It's been a while since I did it myself, so my memory is a little fuzzy on it. You may also be able to register when you're launching the game and it is asking you to sign in with your SE account or create one.
Also I'll move the thread to the create forum.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.
