A flan wearing sunglasses, eh? I guess you could call that...
*puts on sunglasses*
....a sticky situation.
YEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
So, found out today that the monsters in FFXIII-2 will have sunglasses and other accessories in battle. They don't improve stats or abilities, but it lets them look 'cooler in battle'
Thoughts?

I take it this is possible for monsters you've tamed? I suppose you need something visual to distinguish them from enemies (say, if your red flan participates in a battle against six red flans). Although in most cases that wouldn't be relevant.
Depends how they pull it off. Those sunglasses look kind of lame... but flans don't really have a facial structure. Maybe we can get top hats and monocles and put them on behemoths.
I thought the sunglasses signified the 'blind' status effect?
No, These 'accessories' have nothing to do with abilities or stats. They're just for show.
I think I agree with Alpha. I'd rather see a top hat on the Flan rather then the sunglasses Although i think they used that example on purpose.
Yes, you can 'tame' monsters in this one. It makes up for the lacking members in the party, since it'll mostly be Noel and Serah.
It's starting to remind me of Pokemon more then anything -_-; Just more FF esque.

I must say, it would make sense if they affected stats. But just for fun? I think that's kinda weird.
