Re: What's your strategy for Ruby and Emerald?

idk, a lot of these strategies here suck, because when I wanted to beat Ruby/Emerald, it was mainly for so I could get the Desert Rose which allowed me to get the Golden Chocobo without having the heartache/frustration of breeding/racing chocobos for like 20 hours. Getting lucky 7's I'd say is a legitimate strategy since you can force it to happen whenever if you know what youre doing, but using the Mime/KotR shit is just too easy and defeats the purpose for even beating Emerald, since I wanted to beat them to get that stuff lol.

Anywho, for Emerald I'm pretty sure I just molliwhopped him with 4x Cut on all three characters. It starts off a bit slow since you'll be targetting his laser beam thingies on his bigass shoulders but after awhile it picks up. I didn't bother equipping the underwater materia, nor did I bother limiting my materia choices for his materia damage attack. (in fact he never even used it on me lol) but I DID have final attack -> Phoenix on, just in case. I think I beat him with about 5-7 minutes left on the clock, not bad (and I could have done it a lot faster if I didn't use Vincent and let him Chaos but I'm an idiot -_-)

Ruby is even more failsafe than Emerald once you have the bounties of Emerald's stuff. I had W-Summon with Bamamut ZERO, and then I had Mime linked to HP Absorb. I also equipped a Ribbon on Cloud so I wouldn't get hit with all the nasty status effects. I started off using the 2x Bahamut ZERO summon and in return got more then 9999HP back each time, not a bad deal. Once I got damaged enough from his tenticles, I Omnislashed -> Mimed it from then on, which got me about 15k hp back each use. From then on I was pretty much invincible and beat him after a long drawn-out fight. gg no re.

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.
