Tough choice. Several years ago I would've said Tifa or Yuffie, and I still love them. Tifa for her stubborn innocence and...aesthetic reasons, Yuffie for rebelling against her repressive culture and being her own person.

But now I'd say Cid. He's tough as nails, says what he thinks, doesn't take crap from anyone and isn't afraid to reach for his dreams. Even though years of disappointments have hardened him into a verbally abusive nicotine addict, you can't help rooting for him.
