I have never liked the 360 dashboard, but they seem to make it progressively worse. The original wasn't exactly well laid out, but it was at least orderly. Everything had its own designated area and one wasn't bombarded by advertisements for things they weren't at all looking for. Then the New Xbox Experience came along and the dashboard began to resemble a department store, with one section leading arbitrarily into another in the hopes of increasing impulse shopping as one drifted aimlessly through unnecessary promotions and advertisements to find the simplest feature. This new dashboards seems to be about the same as that, but with an uglier coat of paint. It has some other features, I understand, but from a purely aesthetic point of view, it's the shits.
