Deep story, characters with actual personality, rich lore, all enveloped in fun and addictive Zelda gameplay we all know and love... yea, I would definitely beg Nintendo to go back.

No one mentioned voice acting, great story and character personality can be carved via mere text.

Im fine with the series so far they havent done anything drastic to the series so much as to piss me the hell off like SE with FF. I felt their attempts to try n explore the relationship between Link n Zelda in more depth in Skyward Sword was *fart*..The lack of story anD character depth doesnt bother me but I know its present. Haha Im one of the Zelda fans that are happy for the Gorons n Zoras just being there! Give it 2 more console titles n I might just be voicing the same concerns.

I love Zelda for it's gameplay, but after almost three decades of exact same shit and seeing what action adventure games are capable of (Batman Arkham Asylum/City & Assassins Creed 2 most noticeably) gameplay alone isn't enough for me anymore.
