Just the other day I decided to pull out my NES and start playing the nice old classic game Zelda 2. Through my adventures as Link I began to realize I forgot how to save the game. Latter on after dieing by the hands of the hordes of Ganon I found out you can save when you die. Even though I managed to save my game I would still like to know how to save the game without dieing because it's just not a very efficient way of saving the game, lol.

This one and SP on DS are the only ones i don't have to play
All the other ones are worth playing through in my opinion.
This one is awesome, I think; it really is a lot of fun if you give it a chance, I think. It's thee only one we owned when I was a little one back in the late 80's/early 90's (so maybe we didn't know better.) I finally beat it this last Summer, and am proud to finally have that feather in my cap. Sure it's a little hard, but nothing impossible. Nothing on the level of Battletoads or Castlevania or whatever. Once you beat it, you can even play through again with all your levels and spells in tact (or maybe just one and not the other; I don't recall.)
I was never aware you could save without dying, however, but then again, given that you could do that in the original, it makes sense. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
I loved this game, I just find that it is probably the hardest Zelda game, though. I beat it once, never wanted to go back through it, too much of a headache.
