I was pretty excited about this game when this was announced not sure why.
Available on PSN today, Namco Bandai has released a demo for the upcoming game Ni No Kuni. The demo supports five subtitle languages and seems to have English or Japanese audio. There are two areas available in the demo for players to try out. The first seems to only be a boss fight against the forest guardian, while the second is around a volcano against Moltaan. There is a time limit on how long you can stay in the demo.
The forest guardian has you by yourself up against a boss with a very low level character. It is very easy for the boss to kill you. The second area has two playable characters as they are leveled up more. So it is a more manageable experience for those interested.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

Because it is Level 5 and Studio Ghibli? Pretty good reasons to be excited.
I tried out the demo and completed the volcano area. However, the boss in the first are kept killing me. I was still getting used to the combat system, which is not explained at all. So I'd probably do better now, but the low level and solo aspect makes it challenging.

Downloaded, but don't have a chance to try it yet. I'll probably play it tomorrow morning.
I honestly haven't been too interested in this game, but a friend has been waiting for it for a very long time now. Maybe the demo will sway me. I've had the wrong feeling on games before until I played them.
I picked up on the combat fairly quick, but yeah almost died a few times on the tree boss.
I also noticed grammar errors, or maybe they were just accenting the way he was talking. No biggy though.
It was pretty fun. Maybe not day one for me, but later down the road.
Also been waiting to see this for a while, I quite like Studio Ghibli so it should be interesting.
Unfortunately its not on my PSN, maybe its time I make an American account.
So I got to try the game. The combat system was pretty good. I would have liked to see more of the game's features. Might buy it once the game is cheap.
The dub was pretty good. Very likely I'd play it in English.
