Idea Factory Opening US Studio

Idea Factory announced that they will be opening an office in the US to help with the international growth with bringing their products to the NA and EU regions. Idea Factory more commonly is known for their Compile Hearts brand of games that are released mostly through NISA or Aksys Games. Compile Hearts is best known out of Japan for their Neptunia series, Agarest series and crossover titles like Cross Edge and Trinity Universe. Also part of Idea Factory is their visual novel brand Otomate which releases Otome games, two of which have made it over through Aksys Hakuoki, one of their more popular series, and Sweet Fuse.

It is unknown at the moment how this new branch opening in the US will affect their release of games out of Japan. For the last several years all of their localization has been handled by NISA or Aksys Games, it could mean they plan to support themselves into the future. Idea Factory also has a large library of games still Japan-only, which could mean more of their games reach our shores.
