I too got my hands on Borderlands recently... I on the other hand couldn't get into it at all. Looting just doesn't feel satisfying, quests are repetitive and dull, and as far as shooting goes, honestly it appears to be broken. No damage whatsoever even though I aimed perfectly at his head, the pistol accuracy is over 90%, and to make things worse he's almost next to me, this happens way too often to be a mere coincidence. It has it's positive sides of course, love the RPG aspect of it, and the overall art style is not something you see often.
Nevertheless, I might look into Borderlands 2 as it appears to be a lot better game.
