Haha, not saying it's the milk's fault. Just that all that extra creme would have made me even fatter. My metabolism really does suck, and I didn't/don't exercise all that much, so...=P I've gone past my mother and father's height by 4" or so though, maybe a bit more, which I'm thankful for. Helps even everything out a bit more. You're really tall though...:O But I could still body slam you!

What the hell is this "baller shit"?

MMMMM. =P This difference between it and reduced fat milks is so minimal to me, especially when in cereal/oatmeal/etc. is involved. Whole milk isn't even an option.

What accessories did it come with? I'm not sure what standard accessories come with it and what the peripheral stuff is. All I know is that I'll need an extra long cable since I can't afford to shell out $100 for wireless.

Dirty...? Isn't this stuff supposed to be better for you? Or is the added protein from the bugs one of their hooks?

Ballzy has the BK xbox games, although not for the 360. They were birthday gifts and the bestest gifts I've ever gotten. We must've played all three games for a total of an hour. IT WAS AWESOME.

And S, what Kei-to-the-T means by 'dirty' is that it's loaded with illegal substances. If whole milk were driving down the street, he'd be arrested like a mofo for ridin' dirty. However, this only applies to chocolate milk. Gotta rise up against the man for racial profiling, ya feel me?

Are you saying that everyone was skinny and healthy back then because they all ate organic foods packed with cocaine? Crap.

No, organic food was packed full of soylent green, it's the organic milk that's packed with cocaine. I could've sworn I made that clear.

WELL... i paid $479 (hehe, the same price as the new elite when it comes out)
and I got a 2nd controller and a recharge kit that gives you a recharchable pack for your controller and a USB cable to plug it into your 360 so you can "charge while you play" (thats what they called the product) and then this game: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200188

Basically if you add it up minus the stupid game, then all i did was save $5 and got a free crappy game worth $30 at the time ($20 now)... although Outpost Kaloki X is a decent game.. but you could just buy that for $5 or $10 (forgot how much it is) and then you wouldn't have to put in the disc to play the game.. i'd probably play it more if i didn't have to get my ass off my couch to switch discs...

I know that sounds really really lazy, but imagine you're ready to play some intense Gears of War, so you get up put the Gears of War disc in, sit back on your couch and blow your friends heads off for 4 hours. Now its late and you're tired. What sounds good to you? maybe a quick 30 minutes of Uno, or Worms, or Small Arms, or some other fast, small game that is already downloaded to your Xbox. If I had to get off my ass and change discs, then I'd just as soon turn it off and go to bed (where my DS is waiting for me anyways)

edit: oops it was $479, duh..

I'd really like something like that, for both my Wii and my (future) 360. I don't even play my Wii all that actively, but I'm probably on my third set of batteries by now. I know they have a really cheap $15 charger, and then a more expensive $30 (though I think that holds two...). Lithium ion battery care is a bit of a pain though...Don't you have to deplete its charge entirely before charging it again if you want it to last long?

Is the game really good enough to pay $5/$10 for? It seems like so little...But then again, I said that about VC games. It's like DoT. Luckily, my bed is right next to my consoles. I can just reach over and change...Though I'm not about to buy Arcade games on disk. It really is a hassle.

So is there anything wrong with drinking a lot of gatorade during a very non-active work day?

My issue is the market mostly has caffienated or carbonated drinks and if it's not then its loaded with sugar.

I can't tell if that's rhetorical or not, haha. It's just that (to me) it's a bunch of sugars and carbs that just sit...And collect. EVIL EXCESS CALORIES. I have enough problems eating right. Then again, this is coming from the guy that just drinks tasteless white water. But I got some nice orange juice with decent pulp, mmmmm.

My mother has a big addiction to Diet Coke though. She drinks and drinks and drinks. She'd probably be better off having some Gatorade...lol.

That's why they make propell =P That and probably because it has less sugars, iono.. it's still pretty "good" though.

i just get thirsty and gatorade (despite all the ****ing sodium) helps with that and it tastes good! I hate water unless i'm working out because its tasteless :-P

I was just curious if there was anything "harmful" to drinking 2-3 a day when you're not even working out.. lol...

I don't see why there would be...Haha. I don't think it's like a normal sports drink, where they're cramming caffeine and all that extra stuff in there. It's just pretty sugary...I think they use corn syrup.

Absolutely. Although Gatorade is formulated for when you are hot, sweaty and thirsty, it can be consumed just like any other beverage. Keep in mind that Gatorade contains only about 50% of the calories of fruit juices and regular soft drinks.
    I think there's about 150 calories to a 24 oz. bottle, right?

For the past year I have only had an occasional soda, but a lot of Gatorade. That intake is accompanied by exercise in the summer months. I wonder, what are the figures of Gatorade VS soda (like Pepsi) in terms of sugar content? I am too lazy to check right now. I may never check.

Going by the food label...The serving size (8 oz.) for most Gatorade contains 16% daily sugar for someone who is on a 2000 calorie diet (where you exercise frequently). So if you mess around a bit, a 21 oz. bottle of Gatorade has at least 40% your daily sugar (I got 42% for Fruit Punch). Doing the same thing with classic Coke, a 21 oz. bottle will have over 75% (I got 78.75%). Cherry Coke has slightly more. The Fruit Punch Gatorade listing has 14g of sugar per 8 oz. serving and the Coca-Cola 27g.

They both pack quite a punch...Two bottles of Gatorade and a decent meal and you're probably done for the day sugar-wise.

yeah thats what i was afraid of... i go to the gym regularly (when my wrist isn't broken) and mountain bike in warmer months and snowboard in frozen months.. but during the day i sit behind a computer.. lol... like i said the issue is gatorade tastes better than water.. and lemonades/fruitpunch have as much sugar as coke....

but if i wasn't drinking it i'd be drinking soda pop, so at least its better for me... instead of chewing tobacco i'm smoking it.

Hehe, yeah. I can't handle it myself...My metabolism has never been good to begin with, and I'd probably pump up my blood sugar if I drink it. It took a while, but I got used to just drinking plain water out of habit (before that it was Snapple Diet Teas, which I think mess with my stomach). I just can't stand flavored waters like Propel, since they tend to make me feel sick after a while (sorta like when you drink too much soda). I'd rather just take the calories and have orange juice if I had to decide between the two.

    Aaaaagh health.

I wouldn't say harmful, but it'd prolly have the same effect as drinking a soda at this point, since you're not "active." Since the point of the drink is to replenish your quickly depleted Sodium content, from sweating it out, you'd just have more sodium in your body. Basically you'd need to drink some more water to balance that out, lol.. iono. Like I said before, Propel, is like a nice balance, or "option" if you're into the powerade... it's like "water down" gatorade if you will, but it still tastes better than Water =P It's not as sugary as Gatorade as well, blah blah blah.

UoC's foot is lodged into my ass, Tiff. But you know, I think it's only made me more of a procrastinator.

I used to drink every weekend......but now I'm probably done...sans "special occasions". I've developed some other habits that have made alcohol pretty unnecessary.... =P
