So I was talking to one of my coworkers a few days ago. He's an artist, selling t-shirt designs, logo design and commissions for supplemental income when he's not working. Now, logically I know art is just like any of the, well, arts, in that doing it professionally is not easy. It's hard to shake that general societal image though. "Oh, he's just drawing." Bullshit like that. Get it with writing too, despite the fact that so many people these days are alliterate.

But anyways, ...

Today's weather started as nice as it was yesterday, but by 9am it was so different. Rain was pouring, the wind was blowing, and I of course was out in it. I had to go check the mail and do the deposit. After that, I stayed in as much as possible.

Gabby came in and was selling up a storm. She sold so much that the paper is nearly done. As for her check, she will be getting more than $150. She sold so much today that she won't be coming in tomorrow. There is still about a page ...

Those are the two things I've been up to recently. A couple weeks ago I had a big urge to read the original Pokemon Adventures manga so I managed to order the first three volumes from a comic book store in town.They had none in stock so they had to be shipped from the UK at $60 for the three of them. Again that's in New Zealand dollars, it's roughly the same amount in other currencies except for the GBP which is more or less. Haha it's been a while since I've sent anything there so I forget how ...

This morning I rode my bike to work. And I got some of Dad's attitude for declining his offer to take me in to town. It was so nice outside, I just had to take advantage of the great weather we were having. That, and I didn't want to be rear him. But mainly because I wanted to ride my bike. I even left super early so I could enjoy the ride at a slow pace. I was still riding fast, because though I stopped at Grandma's to chat, I still arrived at work 30 minutes early.
