Papa Benny is retiring, the first Pope to do so in 598 years. The BBC described him as a 'filler-Pope' after John Paul II, which is sort of unkind in a truthful way - in reality His Holiness didn't do anything all that memorable, this early retirement will likely be the most memorable part of his Papacy. Hopefully this will mean that the College of Cardinals will recognise that voting for an elderly Pope is a bad idea, we'll get a young Pope - he may even be liberal enough to make some meaningful ...

I'm just sick and ****ing tired of getting close to people only to be used or treated as second banana. Sick of being left behind, sick of being treated like shit. I'm so tired of people and I'm just tired of all of this. I don't ****ing need anyone. I can't be a ****ing napkin any longer, give some one my sympathy, help, shoulder.

Just sick.

This morning, I woke up and had this crazy urge to finally watch The Hunger Games. So, I watched it. It was good. I haven't read the book, so I don't know how much I missed by only watching the movie. The movie did leave with several questions, and mainly because I think it ended badly. I was left thinking, "So, what happens next? Are Peeta and Cat (Kat?) a couple now? And what about that other guy? Why was his (the other guy's) name in there 42 times? And why are there Hunger Games ...

There's a reason I keep to myself. There's a reason I avoid going out to bars & clubs like the Bubonic Plague. There's a reason I dont keep close friends other than my bestie I've had for 18 yrs.

And once again, some shit went down that helped me remember why I am that way.

Second, I received an Email saying I have been nominated for King of the Web's Gaming King. I thought it was a scam at first, but it checks out. I think I was nominated as a joke. But I am embracing it. When I first saw the rankings, I was ranked 93 out of 1251. It sounds impressive, but when there are only 110 people with votes, 93rd Place isn't too impressive.
