Delivering today was okay. It rained lightly throughout most of the it. There was one kinda funny thing worth mentioning. As circulation manager, it's my job to separate the newspapers and any inserts among the carriers. Since Jenn, one of our sales staff members is also a carrier now (for how much longer, I don't know), I place her allotted amount on her desk. Today we had our summer recreation guide to be distributed alongside the papers. When Jenn came in today, she took her ...
Very badly right now. Are we on our way to Texas? Of course not! Because my "boyfriend" is a dumbass and thought it'd be a smart idea to get a 4 day pass/plan a trip on a day when he -might not get paid-, knowing that payday is usually on Friday and it's been a freak accident that he's been getting paid early the last 2 weeks. There is literally zero point in driving 8 f*cking hrs just to stay for 2 nights. I don't even wanna ...
Parker had an accident in her bed last night, so she's sleeping in my bed with us tonight. The thing is, it's like she's grown like.. A lot. In the last 7 months or so, 'cuz this Queen size bed ain't big enough for the 3 of us. I barely fit in the middle and she's about to roll off the side. So I can't sleep. Ad sales were low today, and so I really had to spread out the ads. And since ad sales remained slow throughout the day, I had to rush to find something to fill in the extra space. Luckily, this week's issue was all about Independence Day. So I found some information on the history, recipes, facts and figures, and a ton of festive pictures to make ...
**** me. I don't want to be here. I want to be home still. Got back in this afternoon. It was a fun trip, just long enough to remind me of all the things I miss and then yank them away from me again. Family and friends, the world that I grew up in, good beers, weather that doesn't melt me... heh. Damn it, why does Arkansas have to be so far from Oregon?! Doesn't help that Julie can't be on the internet right now either. Sorry for the emo, but I'm feeling pretty depressed right about now. ...
