Maybe it's just my short attention span, but i'd rather stick to one game, get it over with and move on to something new. It's like reading 10 books at once, who does that? It just confuses things if you ask me..i would much rather keep my focus on one (or SOMETIMES 2) game(s).
My problem with playing just one game at a time is that I have played most of the "games" available. I mean come on it seems like most of the games I have played are just a newer version of the games that I beat ten years ago. I jump from game to game looking for something that is unique and fun because after playing a game for a while I usually think, "I have heard this story before," or "I already understand the game play in this game because I played it in another game and now it's too easy." Still when I do find a game that is unique and challenging I usually stick to it until I have beat it. Does anyone else feel this way?

I am hoping that the Nintendo Wii will make it possible to find new games with new game play.

    Anyhow currently playing

    Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime
    Final Fantasy VIII
    Morrowind
    Kingdom Hearts II
    Pac-man

Yeah i definitely know what you are saying. Do you mean RPGs or games in general though? I'd be curious to know what games you mean exactly. I really do see where you are coming from though, but at the same i think it's hard for a game's story to be ENTIRELY original, i feel like in all the recent final fantasy titles i find bits and pieces from some of the previous titles. Even in FF IX, which is one of my favorite games in the series, i found the story to be very unoriginial and i find great similarities between VI and VII in the story, almost too many similarities. Though i guess i am able to overlook these things and still find something worth playing the game for.

As for the Wii..i am very excited as well. It really is going to revolutionize gameplay. I've been somewhat of a Nintendo fanboy since i was little, though i switced over to Sony simply to play the Final Fantasy titles. I own a NES, SNES, Gameboy, And Nintendo 64. I don't a a gamecube though, got a PS2 instead so i could play the new FF titles. If i had a little more cash i would definitely get one though.

Ah and morrowind IS great. Though i still haven't played Oblivion, my friend seems to like it, he does complain about some of the stuff they have changed from morrowind to oblivion. Why exactly do you think morrowind is better? I was thinking about getting oblivion for the pc, but i am kinda undecided as of now.

CP: Grandia..I SHOULD be playing FF XII, got my copy reserved at bestbuy this morning, they sent me an email telling me it was ready to pickup today but when i got there the employee told me "street release date is tommorrow, sorry i can't give you the game." I was thinking "duh..i knew that, why did you send me the email then."

Heh, reading your post, I was just thinking to myself that the Wii would probably be a good tool for revolutionizing (but it's not a good name apparently) gameplay. And then you said it, negating my response. Thanks a lot!

And kudos to you for playing Morrowind, because it's 1000 better than Oblivion, I don't care what anyone says.

For myself. Hm. My usual sad story about not having enough time to do too much still applies. I did recently obtain a mod for AOE3 that sets the stage more for Napoleonic warfar rather than the new world though, which I'm QUITE happy about. Germany is broken down to Prussia, Austria and the smaller states as it should be, and France is so much better.

Oooo FFXII!!! You lucky sod! I have a feeling i wont be able to get my paws on that for a while yet... Australia always seems to be so behind >.o Do you know when the release date for Aus is? Then again, i have dedicated my holidays (the next 3 months) to playing Kingdom Hearts 2! Which i am very excited about. I have been putting it off because of exams and finishing portfolios for school, but maybe, just maybe i will get a job this summer and... nah screw getting a job, that is what government payments for students are for ^_^ And i would have less time to play if i had a job!

Im currently playing Diablo II. Offline however, which makes me pretty sad. I had a killer acct online which expired, and lost all my Tals, torches, enigma... everything! there is little more depressing than hours of gameplay (and possible money) down the drain.

And someone tell me, Dragon Quest VIII... Any good? Ive picked myself up a demo, and it only last for an hour! Which is about enough time to get out of storyline and into some battling. It looks to have an interesting battle system, somewhat like a usual turnbased, but a few more options with things like 'tactics'.

so! CP (when avoiding doing school work): Diablo II (and Pokemon, but dont tell anyone xD =3)

There's still no EU/INT release date yet.

Some people cry November 2006. Others say February 2007. The latter is far more likely, though it's still not official.

I gotta apologize, guys and gals, for not posting here recently.

There has been very little oldschooling for me lately. Mostly just FFXI and Suikoden V... and as of seven hours from now, FFXII will probably be the ONLY thing I play for a little while.

I've got the itch to play FFIII again, but I'll just wait for the DS version to come out rather than loading up the emulator. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of changes they made. As long as the game is basically the same and the story is mostly untouched, I'll be happy.

Yeah not too much old school gaming for me either..unless you consider Grandia old school? I guess it is pretty old really..

Even though I hate picking up games then stopping them..i'm with you on FF XII. Once i get it tommorrow..i know that Grandia is going to have to be put to rest for awhile unfortunately. I really do love Grandia though, certainly in my opinion, one of the better 32 bit rpgs i have played, but come on this is FF XII here.

Glad to see a fellow CS fan. I used to play the old school version on my old pc, now that i have upgraded i've been wanting to buy cs:source but haven't gotten around to it.

Im currently playing Diablo II. Offline however, which makes me pretty sad. I had a killer acct online which expired, and lost all my Tals, torches, enigma... everything! there is little more depressing than hours of gameplay (and possible money) down the drain.
Wow Diablo II sure is classic! I was a hardcore online/offline player for awhile, but once i started using trainers to make my guy invincible it stopped being fun, killing people online does get old after awhile when there is no challenge really. That sux about your account though! I kinda was thinking about restarting a game on my new computer, but my disc is so scratched now i can't even install the game. And i wont tell anyone about pokemon , i used to love those games, i was addicted to red and blue but haven't really played any of the new installments.

As for Dragon Quest VIII..i haven't played it so i can't really say anything. I'm a definitely a dragon quest fan, and from what i've heard and seen, Dragon Quest VIII does look very promising. I'm sure I'll play it someday, but i've got enough games on my plate to play as it is.

I never had the guts to play Hardcore Diablo >.< lol, im a wuss when it comes to losing something ive worked hard on (Im one of those people who constantly saves / heals etc in a game xD). That and i have little subtlety when it comes to games like this. I find myself these days just running into a throng of enimies and hacking my way out again. This would not work with hardcore for obvious reasons ^_^

I used to play CS also. This however was back in the day when i had a desktop computer and broadband internet *dreams*. I was never very good at this mind you lol, i used to play against very new noobs and get kills, because that was fun. There was always something so very fun about killing other people online xD (which is a strange thing to say concidering i never liked PvP in diablo)

Im looking forward to the wii also! Im not buying one for myself, but i do get to pick up and play my best mates whilst he is in china xD My insides are batteling because i want him to be able to open and play it first (because thats the nice thing to do) But then i really do need to play it myself. Maybe I'll flip a coin to decide. =3

Have a lovely day everyone =3

I just started up FFXII. It's pretty interesting and fun to play. I like the battle system and the leveling system, too.

I'm also going to be playing Suikoden 1 in a bit, too. >.>

Yeah I started FFXII also it seems to be pretty great. I am very excited that the cut scenes are kept to a minimum it seemed like FFX was more movie than game while this one is a good mixture of both. I'm pretty excited that it finally came out. I alos really like that it has tried to create a new type of game by changing the leveling up and fighting norms. It seems real nice.

Yeah i was never that good at CS either. I guess i'm not much of a first person shooter guy..or atleast i'm good at the more arcade style shooters like Unreal, Quake, even Halo. My friends and i used to have Halo LAN parties all the time. I loved playing that game. I've never been that good at CS though, people that play online are so hardcore and I didnt nearly play that much at all. Plus my old pc sucked, so it was hard even getting better when your videocard maked all the colors off so you couldn't see. I'd rather stick to RPGs anywayz.

So finally i'm playing final fantasy XII and i have to agree with you guys this game is GREAAAAAAAT. I am still in shock and awe, this is the way next gen ff title should be. Whoever said the battle system would kill the game is wrong, i love the battle system. Battles no long feel like a chore, it's actually fun to go level up.

Didn't get to play as much as i want yesterday though because i also picked up CS:Source and spent some time installing it, downloading DoD, etc. My friend has the game so he wanted me to get it to play it with him. I spent close to two hours trying to set things up, but either there is something wrong with my computer, or with the game, i'm having a lot of technical difficulties. I'm gonna have to do some troubleshooting later. I'd rather play FF XII anywayz though.

Anywayz, happy posting everyone and good luck to all the fellow FF XII players out there. I'm gonna go get going on it.

Several reasons. First off, Morrowind's landscapes have far more diversity. You could never tell what part of Cyrodil (the country that oblivion takes place in) you were in just by looking at the scenery; Morrowind on the other hand has a very diverse landscape, albeit half of it being ugly ash. Second, there are way fewer guilds to join in Oblivion. There's only 5 maybe, and they're all pretty standard. Thirdly, they cut a lot of weapons in Oblivion: spears are non existant and the armour system is set up that the armour you find gets progressively better so you're almost forced to use the "best" armour despite how ugly you may find it. Morrowind was good so that most armours were fairly equal in defence, with the exception of the odd uber rare item. It left you free to choose what appealed to you without having to worry that your armour is completely useless. As a more superficial reason, 2K games published it and anyone that knows me knows that I despise that company more than I would despise my murderer. They ruined Firaxis and are on a good way to ruining Bethesda as well.

That isn't to say the game isn't good; it is and definately worth buying. The graphics are amazing and the NPCs are wonderfully alive. I just liked Morrowind better.

Well... there's your first mistake right there.

I wouldn't expect anyone to read through the entire thread, but you can't even read the first post? That's... not cool, man. Not cool at all.

Post some more around the forums first. Let me get a feel for you and the sorts of things you like. Come back here when you've got some more (quality) posts under your belt, and be sure to read the first post when you do.

Take a wild guess. It consists of one title.
Brand-spanking-new. Hardly old school at all.

...but it DOES bring back all the good old memories from FFVI and FFT and just RPGs in general from the 2D era. Square-Enix worked really, really hard on FFXII. I'm completely wrapped up in this title. It gives me warm fuzzies, and I'm not even a quarter through it yet.

    I'd post more if I was doing more old-schooling. <.<;;

As of right now, I'm kinda...well, yeah, playing way more FFXI than anything else, with some Counter-Strike:Source on the side. Plus anything else that catches my attention now. Like Toca Race Driver 3. Finally got my comp and vidcard upgraded (as anyone who talks to me most of the time knows, most likely ^^;; ) so now I can actually play everything I want at a decent framerate. Yay! ^^

Ah, so that's the deal with Oblivion. I MIGHT buy it sometime..i mean i'm certain that it's a good game but i'm kinda undecided as of now. My friend told me a lot of the same reasons..i've still been meaning to atleast try the game at his house sometime. I also saw 2k2 took over this game..what happened with Bethseda?

I have to agree with you on FF XII Loco..i really haven't felt this strongly about a Final Fantasy title since i played VI. It shows even an avid old schooler can break a tradition when a game this good comes out. To me this game is better than any of the PS or PS2 final fantasies though i'm sure many people would disagree with me. It's hard for me even trying to compare XII to the last two PS2 FF installments. Not that they aren't good in their own way, but this game is just on a whole different level for me. I can certainly see why it took so long to make

    So CP:
    FF XII
Grandia (on break till im done with FF XII)
DoD: Source (trying to get things to work)

I'm not sure if 2K bought out Bethesda or not, but I can't really see them letting 2K publish it otherwise. As far as I remember, Morrowind was published by Bethesda as well. Not to mention that 2K bought out Firaxis as well, so it may be possible. That thought makes me sad and near suicidal.

And damnit Cesar, you've got me excited for XII now. I had no desire to play it quickly and now you've gone and given me a craving. Now I have to get my playstation back from my friend's and get some money...thanks a lot. >=(

Heh, funny thing, I was talking with my GameStop co-workers (it's funny, I have two distinctly different sets of co-workers now) on Wednesday night about... well, the conversation covered everything, but at one point Oblivion came up. It was compared to Morrowind, and the basic question was "why isn't Oblivion as good?" I didn't know this until they told me, but 2KGames DID buy out Bethesda, just as they did Firaxis. Sad, I know. It's a shame that people would give up their companies for money. Bethesda is technically still an "independent" team of sorts, working entirely under 2KGames... but it just doesn't feel the same any more, you know?

Don't get me wrong, I've seen Oblivion, and it's very pretty. It's just not as diverse and expansive as Morrowind. *shrug* Eh, all the same.

Oh, and I think ZRO's only on xfire all the time, just like me. If he's on AIM, I wouldn't know, because... well, I'm never on. Heh.

That's part of my response to setzertrancer's PM earlier.

So, as it says, it's time to run the gauntlet.

Dawezy and I will ask you some questions -- and Dauragon too, if he happens to swing by. They will range in difficulty, as well as some opinion-type stuff.

First, the obvious inclusion of FFVI stuff.
    • During your first playthrough of FFVI, how many characters did you collect in the World of Ruin? (If you can even remember.)
    • Kefka: Delightfully insane or purely demented? I want your opinion and why.
    • How do you acquire the Paladin Shield?
    And, for some non-FFVI stuff...
    • What year did the Sega Genesis debut in Japan?
    • In Super Mario Bros. 3, what does the Tanooki Suit do?
    • How many jobs (including evolutions) are available in Final Fantasy I?

And, a new topic for the Cult, since we're horrendously devoid of topics right now... let's touch on FFV a bit. It's rare we discuss that.

What is your favorite job in FFV, and why? Is there a specific character you prefer to use said job? Etcetera. setzertrancer, feel free to respond as well.

    Good questions..i like, i like.

Anywayz back to your FF V question. For me, it'd be a tough choice, but in the end i've always been a hardcore Samurai fan. Whether it be in FF V or FF Tactics, i've always loved the samurais. Why? For one they are very strong warriors, but in comparison with say the knight, they have a lot more useful abilities. While it is pretty cheap, who can't say they have used money toss for hard boss battles? *cough*cough* getting Odin..and Bahamut. My ultimate warrior in both job games is what i call the ultimate far east warrior, a mix between a ninja and a samurai. I like picking up the two weapons ability and using it on the samurai, either that or two handed. Plus sword grab can be a real life saver as well.

I think a second contender could be the sorceror. A knight/sorceror combo can very deadly. Also the monk at the beginning of the game was really helpful but as the game progressed turned to crap for me.

Here was my ultimate team setup at the end of the game.
    Bartz - Time Mage/Knight Farris- Samurai/Ninja Reina - Black Mage/White Mage Krile - Summoner/Hunter

    1. I collected then all, with Locke being the last to join me.
    2. Kefka is Delightfully insane, because he is the only bad guy to successfully destroy the world and then rule it. His betrayal of Emperor Gyshal, was a classic moment too.
    3. I believe the Paladin shield is obtained by getting the cursed shield and wearing it for 255 battles, the cursed shield is found at the weapon shop in Narshe.
    4. 1988, one year after I was born
    5. Uh, Tanooki suit is that the raccoon suit or whatever that allows you to nearly fly and stuff.
    6. Fighter, Black Belt, Theif, Red Mage, Black Mage, White Mage. Evolutions: Knight, Master, Ninja, Red Wizard, Black Wizard, White Wizard.
    7. Samuri and GP Toss, most powerful move in the game, saved me against many bosses I found too hard. The girls, it's funny seeing them in a samuri costume.

Favourite FFV job? Oh wow, that's a tough one. I'm going to exclude mime because, although I find a 4 mime party absolutely deadly, it's just boring to have everyone the same, and one on thier own isn't as effective, or so I've found. So my favourite would probably be...Sorceror actually. Because of the 2 slot system, I find them fairly ineffective later in the game compared to alternatives, but I thought they were really cool. Other than that I'd have to say Monk simply due to their versitility.

That said, ironically enough, I'm doing 0 old skool gaming. Mind you, adventure games are an old skool genre. I've been playing 'Dreamfall: The Longest Jounrey' and it has been wonderful. It's rare to see an adventure game in this day and age. The story is wonderful and, forgive me for this, the graphics are quite a sight. The only issue I have with it is that it's really easy. I haven't run into anything challanging really...at all. That and I hear it's fairly short, like 15 hours or so short, which is annoying. But the story is just wonderful and I definately recommend it to any fans of old skool adventure. And it isn't published by 2K Games. =)

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but yeah i miss the classic adventure games of old. Dreamfall is the sequel to the Longest Journey isn't it? I played the original very briefly at a friend's house and loved it, though never got the game myself. If i can find a copy I'd love to play it and maybe then get around to the sequel as well. Hey, and that's good it's not published by 2k games.

After finishing FF XII, i plan on taking a slight rpg break and playing some adventure games. Okami and Shadow of The Collossus (wow i killed that spelling) are on the top of my list right now.

Oh yea..because i forgot to put it before.

Yes, indeed it is. I haven't actually played the first one. My dad randomly bought this on one of his "I'll eventually play it and it was cheap" sprees and I was really itching for something with a fantastical story, so I gave it a try. Luckily, you don't need to know that much from the The Longest Journey to understand this one. It makes me want to actually finish Siberia though.

    Until now!

Close... so close on the Tanooki suit. It's the one that makes you look like a Raccoon but allows you to turn to stone; however, you CAN fly with it. Most people call it the statue suit. Raccoon Mario is the suit acquired by grabbing a Super Leaf. Why a leaf? I dunno.

If you didn't notice, I already added you to the member list, but I'd like to see what kinds of things that Dawezy has to ask you all the same.

Now, to answer my own question from earlier.

Samurai is a great one, yes, but I always was rather fond of the Berserker. There's just something about the allure of raw power that draws me toward it. It may not have been as useful as some of the other jobs, but it was certainly great at pounding the shit out of things. Plus, Axes are sexy.

Geomancers were probably more useful in FFT than in FFV, but all the same, that's another job that I was always oddly fond of. Geomancer was good for finding traps and reaching otherwise painful places (walking on lava?), but wasn't all that great in battle.

But the TRUE favorite? Lancer. It speaks for itself.

I honestly don't have any preference as to which character does which job. I like to mix things up, but I do prefer to have one Lancer and one Berserker in my party toward the end of the game. I always swap the jobs amongst the characters.

By the way, setzertrancer, we usually include a "currently playing" list from time to time. It was required in posts for a while, but we kinda... stopped caring. Obviously in discussions like this, there's no need to include one every time you post if nothing has changed within the past five minutes or five hours, or whatever the time difference may be.

    .
Oh man..you are right about the Beserker, how could i forget? They truely are pure killing machines. While they certainly lack in versatility, they make up for in raw killing power. Speaking of beserkers, Baasch is kinda my beserker type in FF XII, a simple strategy i use once if i am unable to use quickenings is to use a bacchus wine and cast haste on Baasch and watch him completely total any enemy/boss, he's such a tank. Vaan and Ashe simply are there to heal him and get in the occasinal attack.

Geomancer i did actually use a lot at the end of the game for all the parts with traps but yea in battle i thought they were completely useless. I mean sure they don't use MP to cast spells, but god their spells sucked horribly.

Lancer though? I don't know..as much as i'm a big fan of lancers in general (cmon kain is probably my all time fav ff character, well besides general leo of course. ), i didn't find them as useful as the other warrior classes in FF V (or Tactics for that matter). As much as the jump ability is great, they really didn't have much else going on in terms of abilities.

Weapons wise, lances are very powerful (especially the Holy Lance) but i wish there was more..uh versatility in terms of mixing with other warrior classes (ie using two handed, sword magic, etc). I felt like with all the other warrior classes, you could mix and match things but the lancer was kinda the stand alone guy. Correct me if i'm wrong, but you can't use two lances at once either can you? Also, with the knights and samurais, i feel like they could take the damage but with the lancer jumping all the time, it left my weak mages and summoners to take the brute of the enemy attacks. Though i guess that could be a kind of survival tactic, if anyone has seen the video i posted (in the FF IV game room) of the extremely low level party in FF IV and Kain solely beating the main guy of the game by himself, you'll know what i mean.

Favourite FFV job? Oh wow, that's a tough one. Yeah i thought Monk was great at the begining of the game and it was probably one of my most used jobs. As i got to the end though, and characters were constantly getting better weapon and armor upgrades (and more importantly the legendary weapons or whatever they are called) it's power seemed to get less and less. Though it certainly had some good abilities

Ah..ok. I' gonna have to give it a try. I don't know what it is, but i've never been able to get into PC games as much lately. Way back when on my old computer with windows 3.1 i loved playing all the old point and click adventure games. Siberia is just like that too, isnt it? God i'd love to play one of those again soon. I feel like that's such a dying genre and it's good there are still games like that left.

    Hehe, I been feeling rather jolly over the last day or so after my Doc visit.. NEW MEDICATION! o_o;

    Well, ok its not a good thing really but yeah its something new, lol. Its some pretty strong shit - goes by the name of Keppra, you may wanna look it up its pretty funky and atleast I can swallow these without *almost* throwing them back up like my old pills.. Ahh the joys of disabilities ~.~;

Now for our new little friend, Loco has shot his question off so here are some brain-bashers of the sort. I loves my SEGA so most of my questions will revolve around that...

    • (Always like to ask this one. lol) In Shadowrun, what do people refer to each other as?
Beavis and Butthead, what was the main storyline of the game? (summary)
    Bare Knuckle was also called...?
    • How many lives do you get in Bubsy?
    • Which Castlevania title(s) were on the Genesis? (Trick question, hint hint)
Contra Hard Corps and Probotector, what are the main differences between the 2?
Dragon Ball Z - Bu Yu Retsudan, and the french version, L'Appel du Destin. Besides the jap/french text, what was different?
Herzoy Zwei, what must you do to Win? (It bitches me too, I used to be a pro back in the 90's lol >_<)
    • How many Jurassic Park games were released? Name'em.
    • What was the difference between Mortal Kombat 1 on the Genesis, and its release on the SNES version? (Which actually turned popularity in SEGAs favor, from what I've read over..)
Rings of Power, what was the hidden image in the loading screen?

Phew, I think I broke my brain..

    ..no wait, It already was.

    XD

On the gaming front I have re-installed a few games on the old beast that I forgot to.. getting back into the GTA:SA groove (love the crude language XD) and blasting some old school Command and Conquer, was thinking about re-installing Blood Omen 2 actually.. would run like a wet dream on this gaming rig. And Sims 2 aswell! totally forgot about that, damn.
    SPOILER!!:

    ^_^

OH SNAP! I got you good son.

    Now for some Answers!

    • Everybody calls everyone "Chum" in Shadowrun, which is quite funny because it rhymes with the game title. Lawl
    • Correct, tickets to a Gwar (wtf name is that) concert get scattered and you must find them.
    • Yep!
    • 9, its a Cat.
    • Spot on, only 1 official game was released but thanks to censorship and the fact that there are MORE then 2 countries in the world.. Castlevania "Blood Lines" saw about 5 variations of gameplay.. ugh.
    • In Contra Hard Corps, your characters could take 2 hits and die on the 3rd.. in Probotector (US version) you only take 1 hit and die. PLUS, the character lineup is somewhat edited. The main male/female lead are turned out to be a Gundam-esque outfit.
    • THE GAME SPEED! gah, its so frustrating. French version is so damn fast you can barely gets moves in. Shame it never saw a release outside of Japan/France/Europe.
    • You have to drop your Troops off and set them to "Capture" AI (wierd lookin orange icon) to take control of Outposts.. from there you move on to others and finally your enemys camp.. where-in you set your grunts into "Attack" Ai and murder stuff. Absolutely brilliant game for its time and I used to play the hell out of it against friends and kick their ass too. XD
    • Almost - Jurassic Park, Rampage Edition and Lost World.
    • SEGA version of Mortal Kombat was uncensored.
    • You can punch in a code to reveal a topless girl in the starting screen, as opposed to "Dirty Dog's" mascot.. which is a dog (No shit? lmao).

    *hurts*

Eh, time to lurk I shall post again soon.

And hello again Dauragon, been a while

Doh, I missed the topic completely.. I believe it in relation to FFV and the Job system? Hmm.. may sound a bit unorthodox but I found that Blue Mage was a standout. Had just about every spell/effect in the game you could use to benefit the party; though White Wind was only really effective if you had a noticably full HP meter but Guardian (I forget its name in the PSOne release) gave the entire party a Protect/Shell/Float effect.. not to mention the old Lv2.3.4.5 Enfeebling spells we have all grown to love.. Old, Flare, Quarter, Doom.

Next job I used *often* was the Bard actually.. you'd be surprised how quick a group of Undead drop with 2 Bards in the group singing Requiem for upwards of 1500~ damage each. Not to mention the Party-wide Regen song, and the temporary level raising Song..

    So many things I could touch on, but, I generally kept one of those 2 in my party for support reasons. And now for the second piece of the article;

Top few preffered FF's you say? Hmm..

    IV, III, VI, XI, VII..

I was actually introduced to the series by VII and an old friend of mine telling me to come over and give it a go.. low and behold, it sucked me in. Lol, after that I delved into the older titles and found myself struck with VI.. then IV.. then IV.. then IV.. then IV.. hell, I could walk through that damn game near blind I know all of its elements that well (I also *do* have my own walkthrough typed up and online, heh). But with III, now this one I'm not sure excatly what happened to be honest but its a damn brilliant game - I even played the original (yet translated) NES ROM and it was probably the first FF to introduce an active job-changing system which was a welcome change. Rawk the M.Knight baby

Hell, I should whip out nesterJ again sometime and start that ROM back up, I think I was in the final dungeon somewhere.. o_O

Better yet, here's some E Penis+1 material for Dawezy and my old M.Knight. XD (check attachment, woo.)
