On a different note (since we are talking about controllers) I read recently in the game pro magazine that the PS3 Sixaxis controller "gets rougly 30 hours of battery life though there doesn't seem to be a way to swap out the battery once it's been exhasted." The article goes on to say "oh well - we officially entered the age of "disposable technology" with the Ipod anyway."

Still I was shocked! Who wants to replace the controller every 30 hours. Thats like 3 times in one 100 hour game. What do you guys think and have you heard anything else about this? Thanks goodness that the Wii controller atleast has replaceable batteries!
It still sucks having to replace batteries in the Wii mote at all. Oh I hope it comes with batteries or I won't be able to even play it when it is released in 5hours. That will sure suck, because I'm broke now. Why dosn't any of these new generation consoles have the sense to use todays in built battery technology. I mean Nintendo did with both their Gameboy Advance and DS. I mean it is going to be annoying having to get new batteries for Zelda every 15 hours in a game that likely has 50-100 hours gameplay. I guess we are all going to have to start stockpiling batteries and here I was thinking that the age of batteries was about to be over
