PS3 Slim?

Happens with every new revision of the PS3.
PS3 slim'll probably have no blu ray drive like the PS3 GO has no UMD drive forcing you to buy PS3 titles through a new online service, devised to combat the impact of most game places making most of their money from pre-owned games.

I don't really think this'll happen, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Expect one more less USB port or the loss of PSX compatibility or something similar.

That's ridiculous. PS2 compatibility was removed so PS2s would still sell. Obviously PSXs are not still available in stores so there would be absolutely no reason to scrap it. The two USB ports and flash drive on the other hand, well it's just impossible to please you people; you complain that the PS3 costs too much money, but then complain when they take away relatively unnecessary features in an attempt to keep the cost as low as they can afford (while desperately trying, but failing, to keep it profitable).

We know nothing of the slim yet, including whether it's even real or not, so there's no reason to assume that it will be missing any additional features. It's just a matter of more cost efficient (as well as space efficient) technology becoming available. Sony may screw it up, they're good at that, but I really don't see how. We'll see what happens at Gamescom or, failing that, Tokyo Game Show.
