After two years of studying English and Dutch, I have French again (I'm studying Journalism now). Now I realise how bad my spoken French is. I have to rethink everything.

I think I respond to the movie really well because of the philosophy behind the characters.

And I think a lot more people would love IB if they stopped seeing it as a movie written and directed by 'that guy from the amazing Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction'.

And in my opinion, Kill Bill sucked balls.

Btw, the chapters in Inglourious Basterds. Didn't they annoy you? It breaks the atmosphere a little.

It is my favourite movie of all time though. And it is kind of the perfect movie. No flaws I've discovered so far.

(Though there was the filming of a bag of groceries in the end I didn't use to like, because it wasn't really functional and I wondered what Fincher filmed it for, but I've come to realise that he wanted to show that it's cans of beer falling on the ground. They wanted to watch the whole thing while drinking. Or that's how I sleep at night, telling myself that. And the fact that in the beginning the fat guy says something different before he presses the main character's face against his tits from how it goes down like 5 minutes later, can be explained by the fact that the main character shows everything through his eyes. You see it how he shows you. So it doesn't have to be completely right. The first time the narrator tells you about that, it's more meant to be funny, his face pressed against a guy's tits. The second time, it's the actual story. Right?)

But I think you have to be able to identify with the main characters and their philosophy to fully enjoy the movie and everything behind it.

Also, I'd like to mention that my initial plans in High School were to study for director. Filmography or whatever it's called. But my parents wanted me to do something 'decent', being parents and all.
