Dragon Quest V is the "best" according to a friend of mine who has been playing for what feels like centuries now. If you enjoyed VIII at all, V would be a great way to go after that. Keep in mind, of course, that if you do this it may seem like the others aren't as polished simply because they aren't as impressive as those two.

I'm not really counting IX when saying this, though. I think that DQIX is a phenomenal game, but they really changed it up a bit... it's built to work equally as a single- or multiplayer game. It's a really unique style, but I found the story (though simple) to be quite entertaining. The real game kicks off after you finish the game, as you unlock more quests and it tells a second story.

IV and V were both revamped and released on the DS, as Rocky mentioned. IX is on the DS as well.

you should definitely try out Dragon Quest 5 and Dragon Quest 6, both are on the SNES and can be played by rom. Though they've never been released to the States (except on DS for 5, many years later..), both are very good games and are also fully translated. If you are interested I could PM you a link on where to find them (since talking about roms and stuff are technically breaking the rules here )

If you actually had questions and maybe tried to figure out people's view point it would be one thing. I can have my opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs but since you can't show some common courtesy why should anyone relay it back to you?

Well that is part of the reason I am hitting you up about it. Not sure what happened to ID but it is in a lull from hell right now and I want it to pick back up. I will have to hit Violet or Ally up to move it. I can't move things that are not in my section.

Even though it would be a highly opinionated thread I think the one you made about confederate = racist should of been made in ID. I think in GC it will loose some of the potential that it would have in ID.

Lady Luck or whatever Lady is still against my girlfriend as her recruiter let her papers expire so he had to refile or reapply them - he needs to do something else in my view. Yeah I've heard from a few people how recruiters will promise you the moon to get you to join (but they're oblivious to the fact that I don't the moon - I want Mars). Well that stinks about the food service; I guess the way to get into that would to find whom they outsource to and see what requirements are needed.

A person I know in the Coast Guard has said the same thing about the influx in the military and there not being a lot of openings. Though another person said that his grandfather said that that is not entirely true (his grandfather fought in Nam and still talks to people in the military - I don't trust that source though).
