Wow, seriously? I heard that jury duty was mandatory, and you get fined or something if you don't do it. o_O;

For pretty much everything else. But keep in mind, just because I'm registered doesn't mean I always vote that way. I tend to go split-ticket when I vote.

But really though, I'd be okay with socialized medicine IF and ONLY IF we could get a flat tax. If everyone is paying the exact same percentage, then it's fair. Now what does this mean if someone's jobless? I guess that's the only problem with the "solution," isn't it?

Now I've figured out that your a soldier/veteran, I understand... better. But what I said previously still stands.

I just don't understand why people still encourage the posession of firearms.
Giving you bad rep was not the fairest thing to do, but it's something I felt like doing on a forum where people as young as 12 years old are active.

I know you'll never change your mind on the posession of fire weapons for civilians, but as I'm getting older, my disliking of the US is evolving to hatred on some points and I never expected it to turn out so sad...
