I don't think you'd be able to beat Fate in a fight. He's young and small and you, well... You kind of get hit in the face too much. You may be able to beat Apollo, you can beat Clubber, you can even kick the shit out of some big giant Russians who shoot up on steroids before the fight, but there is no way in hell that you could beat Fate.

Y'know, I played through to the second disk of Star Ocean 2, and when I got to the new planet, I was a little overwhelmed by how much longer the game still was. And how much I seemed to need to grind. I want to play it again, though; probably buy the PSP remake (or is it just a straight port?) Anyhoo...
