Didn't want to clog up the thread about FFVII being overrated, so I figured I'd just tell you here where it's not off-topic. Final Fantasy games better than FFVII? I, IV, VI, IX, X, XII, and Tactics. Most had all or a combination of better: Plot, gameplay, music, strategy, character advancement, character stories, main character, main "bad guy", sidequests/minigames ... well, that's prettymuch every category, there.

It's not a bad game, not by any means. It's just not all it's cracked up to be -- not by any means.

After I stopped playing DQVI I started doing rom corrupting stuff on other games for fun lol. Watching videos of people corrupting roms got me into it pretty easily.

yeah, i learned that the hard way. i just wasted a few hours of fighting and going up 2-3 levels with both characters and all the treasures i picked up in the cave passage to that one shrine.

hey, i was playing Dragon Quest VI some today and i got my 2 characters up 2-3 levels and i was getting close to the shrine that this one guy told me about and i decided to use the Forget spell to forget a speech and the stupid game froze on me. Has the game ever froze on you when you were making good progress and haven't saved yet?

if i makes you feel better my latest file has over 100 hours on it.

Watch the speed run, 8 hours and 35 minutes some lady beat it. Also FFIX is MY FF game, I've played it way to many times. You have to save a lot and reload saves a lot to avoid random battles.

Hey, are you still interested in playing that Eternal Filena game I told you about a long time ago? (the game that plays like a Lufia game)

Oh and on a related note that also makes Fate your half brother.
