Mmm... cheesy potatoes. I've been wanting to make some mashed potatoes recently. Now I know what to add to it. I wonder if it'll mix well considering how fluffy they tend to be. We should really make that thread some time though. I wonder how many cooks we have at TFF.

I haven't actually made chicken in the oven. I tend to just cook it in a pan, haha. The only time I ever really used the oven for chicken was when I made it breaded. I just let it bake in there for like 50 minutes. At the halfway point we added some tomato sauce, and at the very end we added slices of cheese on top. It was great! I should try oven baking chicken though. Crispy~

I have no idea what it's for, haha. Probably a ceremonial thing. It looks hard to make and takes a long time, too, so it must be of cultural significance. It looks so rotten... haha, but I'd still try it. Horse urine eggs seem to be what the Thai call century eggs!

I could eat most animals as long as I know for certain it isn't dangerous to eat. Which is impossible to know until you've actually eaten it, haha. It's always that first leap of faith. I think I had eel once, but it was cheap. I need to sample the fine stuff so I have a scale to go by.

A lot of my family doesn't like fish. And since it's raw, it just compounds onto the problem, haha. Nowadays sushi seems to be getting cheap though. Every shop I pass by is having 1/2 off sales, probably because of the economy.

String cheese in mashed potatoes... that's a description I have never heard before. Nor tasted. I should try it! Which reminds me that we need a recipe thread/cooking thread or forum on TFF.

My parents once told me we could cook chicken in there. The idea makes me sick, hahaha. Using the microwave for any sort of cooking is strange to me. It takes so long, and you might as well just get a pot boiling or heat a pan.

I don't think they sell those eggs at a regular market. Supposedly the ostrich itself is becoming endangered. Most are in parks and zoos, or something. If you got your hands on an ostrich, would you just take a big bite? When it's LIVE?

My avatar used to be Frog from Chrono Trigger. Although that wouldn't stop me from eating one to taste! I haven't really eaten anything exotic though. My own family gets riled up about me eating beef liver, hahaha. Or sushi. I've only had that once, and it wasn't really high class.
