Yes the movie's coming out in either November 21 or December 12, not sure whether. For those who know the story or just heard of it, tell me your opinions about it. Some people might absolutely hate this, while many others I'm guessing they just love it.

Summary: "When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and and terrifying turn. With his porclain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irrestible and impenetrable. I believe its nov 21st I did see a trailer for it teh other day i could have sworn it said nov 21st but in july when i went to see the dark knight it said december 12th hmm. Anyway Ive read the first book and half of the second I just got out of it but when i was reading it I thought that the actress that they have playing bella would play her. I would have never guessed that the guy who plays Edward(hes also from harry potter) would be playing Edward. I just cant picture him as Edward LOL But I am curious to see how this film is. It does look good.

No, it hasn't. Still November 21.

I've been looking forward to this movie since the beginning of summer. Twilight is going to be wicked. Just that Cedric Digory isn't who I'd expect for Edward Cullen, but there's nothing I can do. And Shark Boy shouldn't be Jacob...but I give up on that too. Can't wait to see what the movie will do with the events Meyer wrote though. The trailers seem cool, so I'm hopeful.

I liked the first two books in the series. Then they got crappy and cliche-filled. Particularly the last one.

The movie looks like it's going to be shit. I hate all of the casting, and unless the author does the screenplay things, in general, turn out badly. There are a couple of exceptions, but I seriously doubt that this will be one of them. From the trailers, it looks like it's been turned even soppier than the book was (though for the book it was okay - in moderation. By book four it was old) and it appears, to me, to be overhyped and badly acted.

I'll still see it, though. Then I can actually form an educated opinion as opposed to a ZOMGBIAS one. xD

I'll reserve final judgement. My opinions so far could be due to crappy trailers. I doubt it, but it's possible. ^^;

Ok, u dont make sense... I dont know. People say they hate it because of the writing. But most love it because of the story I'm guessing. But I'm also saying that u should've read the book so at least u know wat its about? o.O
Yes, in NA it came out yesterday.

I forgot to mention my thoughts about the books.
First book: Loved it!
Second: Hated that the fact they were seperated almost all the time! >.<
Third: Not bad
Fourth: Okay, but was kinda dark in the beginning. I couldnt even tell why they added Jacob's part into it. ANd glad that renesmee got to stay with them.

Alright...let me tell you my opinions on Twilight...

Well let me begin with the fact that I never ever wanted to read this series or have anything to do with it. Everyone was reading or googling over it and I thought it seemed just too cliche. WELL my best friend forced me to read the first one and as soon as I reached chapter two I was hooked and sucked in deep. I found Bella a bit whiney but whatever that didn't bother me.

Then the movie begins to come out, I watch the trailer and two things popped into my head. One, Kristen Stewart was going to be playing Bella Swan and I love her so much. She is an amazing actress and is so beautiful. Two, it looked like it was going to suck. Robert Pattinson the guy playing Edward Cullen seemed to put no life into his lines while I looked up and watched all the trailers.

Then I went and saw the movie...and I was in love.

If you know me well then you will know that I usually hate book/video game based movies. But the acting was so amazing, the trailers gave it no credit at all. And I didn't get to go on opening day like I wanted but I wouldn't want to beat up some screaming fangirl. Ironic that me and my friends call super psycho fans like that Twitlights. Because as I said I liked the book but it wasn't anything special.

I will hold to it that I liked the movie more than the book and this takes a lot from me. I assure you it is amazing and both Robert and Kristen did very well. The kiss scene was both really adorable, hot and hilarious...just had to add that in because it was just cute. I mean I was gushing luv the entire time it was just too cute...*ahem* im sorry but i've become something I really didn't think i'd be or really want to be.

But I shall try to go tomorrow and get my poster and coat for the Twilight! It isn't that I really need a coat or an item mostly it has my favorite quote on the coat.

Well im gonna stop here, but just go see the movie okay. Its great and it is worth it I assure you. I am going to go see it more than once im sure!

Chances are I'm going to have to read them. Yes I'm male and acutely aware of that fact but somehow I'm almost expected to have read them simply by sharing the surname of Edward. Honestly I'm being swamped by people finding it absolutely amazing that I have the name of Cullen and expecting me to know every minute detail.

Oh well. Time to get them read.

Yeah, the advanced screening was held tonight, and it's going to be shown officially tomorrow. I'd like to watch it because I like how it looked in the trailers, and the song Decode by Paramore is awesome, but I prefer reading it. Maybe when the DVD comes out

I saw the movie last night and loved it. I'm almost finished with the 4th book. I was a little shocked by the actors they got for the movie. All in all I loved it and look forward to New Moon.

I really don't see what the hype is I've read the books their written very good but not THAT good. I was watching the news the day it came out for the 12 o'clock showing and there were people waiting in a line the size of my town. C...R...A...Z..Y

I went watching the film on the night it came out. Now to avoid sounding like an uber fan for saying that, I'd like to state I haven't read the books. I've heard bits and pieces from my friends but not taken the time to read them myself.

That aside, I rather enjoyed the film. Not exactly to my taste with the romance (as I wouldn't have watched it unless I was dragged) but it wouldn't have been a film without it. Now I'm not going to comment on the actors looks. Yes, I have heard how fabulous Edward looks in the book and other such things. But, again from what I've heard, his character was pulled off well by whoever did it (I'm not good with actors names).

As for the books, I've been told they are better than the film, so I may add them to my pile.

According to Empire "Unless you're a 14 year old girl and like cliched vampire movies modeled on Interview but nowhere near as good: stay away". I think I'll take the advice, I've never had much love for the books (To be honest I've never read them). I just couldn't help thinking cliche and the fact that the female lead is so damn helpless and whiny annoys me.

The book and the movie were both equally annoying. Infact, the movie was worse with their monotone crappy acting. Good thing the actor for Cedric Diggory didn't get many scenes in the Goblet of Fire movie, otherwise they would've never noticed him for Edward's role. It's a good series for younger teens, but I recommend reading The Hobbit to refresh your mind.

I haven't read the book or seen the movie but from what I've heard, it sucked....Plus, I'm not into romantic movies anyway. Especially when they sound so corny.

My opinion on the books and film... I have read all four books and seen the movie. I thought they were good. Yes the books are a bit better because you can use your imagination on them. And the film wasn't that bad. We'll see how the next three films go. (if they make them)

IMO i am sick of all the vampires you know ts to much when Steven Segal is in a movie about vampires then again his career has been going downhill lately.
but seriously can't they make a movie about another mythical creature how many decent dragon movies are there or Griffons.

I watched this last night, and wasn't that impressed to be honest, I found it was slow and dull. I don't know whever it was intensional or not but there didn't seem to be any emtion coming from the cast, it was like there was no on-screen chemistry.
I want to read the books, hopefully it would be better.

While it's no "Interview with the Vampire", it's a pretty good novel for teeny boppers. I feel a bit annoyed when an adult drools over it and says it's the greatest mastermind story ever created in all of vampire/fantasy history. But to each is own, I guess.
On another note, the movie was pretty drab. The actors were lifeless and monotone. It wasn't a horrible movie, it just didn't meet up to the books standards, IMO.

The film was decent... I will watch it again as I am a Twilight fan... but... Meh.
It had the potential of having a WOW effect... sadly the result was a like, I see where you're going with this... but... I dunno.
It didn't help that the effects were quite low budget as well, but who knows this may change for New Moon! Despite being a little disappointed with Twilight I still have hope for New Moon... Even if there is less Edward in it.. And even if Dakota Fanning may be in it...
