Well what do you guys reckon?

Will it be as good as the game, I never fully completed the game it looks alright I don't think I would rush to the cinemas to see it though.

As for Jakey boy he wouldn't have been my pick for the role.

Hi.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you Rameses, except I haven't played any of the Prince of Persia games. They look good though, and so does that trailer. Yeah, I wouldn't have picked Mr. Gyllenhaal, or at least he wouldn't have been my first pick anyway. He did really beef up for the role though, so yay? He's trying.

Movies based on games are hardly as ever good as the games themselves, imo. It does looks pretty though, but I don't have really high expectations. It's been ingrained into my head that movies taking thier source material from a video game lead to disapointment (i.e. Mortal Kombat, Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter, Doom, the list goes on...), but I suppose I shouldn't judge something before I watch it. I don't think I'm going to the theatres for this one though. It might be a rental when it comes to DVD.

I Think It Will Be A Pretty Good Film, And I Am Looking Forward To See It. It Has A Bit Of Comedy, Which Is Always Good When There Is Also Action, And Possibly Drama. Thats Like The Best Combination...Hehe

im watching this movie right now, but there arethings about it that just bother me.

its not a bad movie but besides the point, it has almost nothing to do with the actual story of prince of persia, so it wouldnt be fair to call it a good video game movie would it? its simply just a good movie.

It was an okay movie in my mind but nothing I would watch again or recommend to people. The action and acrobatics were cool but that is about it. Watch it if you're bored,

I don't have the game; but I have the movie, I thought it was a great movie. If I had the game and played it before the movie had came out, I probably would have a lot more to say.

I'm not sure how faithful it is to it's original source as I've only played the very first Prince of Persia, however, the movie was rather good. As always, I enjoyed Ben Kingsley's performance, Jake managed to pull of the Prince of Persia himself, by appearance if nothing else. Some great action scenes, bit of humor, all in all a good movie, certainly better than most movies based on games.

I watched the movie n it waz really catchy, imean every time i used to watch it i never got tired of it n apart from that i luvvvvv Jake Gyllenhaal n i thought dat the movie waz awsum just bcoz of him n dat the movie wud b incomplete without him ...... The story waz great n ive heard of the game but cud not play it but will

I liked the movie alot actually. It was full of action and I like movies with action in them. I thought Jake did well as the Prince too, and I liked the princess lol.
