Ninja Scroll, Live Action propaganda.

I heard that those Scumbags at I produce shit movies, were going to make a live action version on Ninja Scroll. Before they mess it up liek those slimy shoesuckers messed up Dragonball, I have 3 questions.

1. Can anyone confirm this?
2. Who will play Jubei?
3. Why are the so many Ostriches?


Personally, I think that Steven Segal would make a cool Jubei. Although he is not quite asian enough. If theres a bigger version of Jet Li with long hair, he should do it.

From what I've read so far it seems that Warner Bros along with Leonardo DiCaprio as producer are planing to make a live action version of Ninja Scroll, the only place where I got some concrete information is IGN so I'm not 100% sure if this is true.

2. Who will play Jubei?

This is something I would also like to know, I've heard somewhere that DiCaprio is considering George Clooney for a Jubei but that would be ridiculous.
I can only hope that they won't make this movie, there is enough number of bad movies based on games and anime, there is no need to increase this number.

There isn't too much information yet, aside from a screenplay writer, Alex Tse, and the inclusion of DiCaprio's Appian Way as the producing company.

And thirdly god damn is there no one out their who doesn't doubt this may be a miracle and actually turn out to be a good movie.....pfft what the hell am I saying of course it won't be but still that won't stop me from foolishly going out of my way to watch just to see how pathetic it will be.

Damn it I am a big fan of Ninja scroll both the series and the movie but you just mention the name Lenardo Dicaprio and thats enough to make me want to projectile vomit out of my asshole, take Titanic as a good example and Blood diamond need I say anymore! Sorry I am avoiding the question and heading straight for the bitching. Good god WTF is Warner Brothers thinking. I know with out a doubt they are going to **** this up. Hearing this almost pisses me off, which is hard to do.

He's kinda grown up, believe it or not. I can't consider "Leo" to be a bad actor any more. He's not one of the greats, but he's getting a hell of a lot better.

I stumbled upon it in some old newspaper, doesn't necessarily mean that it's true, in fact the same information was never confirmed by Leonardo DiCaprio. I highly doubt that he's stupid enough to consider George as Jubei even for a second, who knows I might be wrong.

As much as I don't want to see this movie being made I have high expectations from DiCaprio, if anyone is going to do this why not he, I actually think that he can pull this of, after all Ninja Scroll isn't Dragoonball.

Like most anime though I really think it can only be portrayed as just that an anime that's what makes it so good trying to reproduce with actors just wont be the same, by the way Loco I have never seen The Departed so I can't comment on his contributions in that.
