I picked up Silent Hill (the movie) on Friday. When you buy it at Best Buy here in the states, you get a "making of" Silent Hill Experience along with a few things that are probably already on SHE. I haven't watched it yet, though. I'll probably be watching it tonight.

Sent out the money for the first Silent Hill on Friday as well. Hopefully that comes within a week or so.

I started playing Silent Hill 3 again!

In in the Underpass, near to the sewers. I really want to get to the streets of Silent Hill soon, because I'm really excited to see it once again, but with a new array of enemies!

I really hate those...

So you haven't had the chance to play SH4, then? It's not the best in the series in my opinion, but still a really good game. You may have a bit of a time finding SH4, though. The Gamestop I worked at recieved one about a week ago (new). You may have to get it from online.

Speaking of which, I'm going to run to my house shortly to see if Silent Hill came in the mail yet. I'm hoping so.

Hm, you just met Vincent? You have a little way to go before you can go to Silent Hill. Something BIG will happen before you go to the town. It's not until right after that. It's worth the wait!

AND! If you have a beaten game save from SH2 on your memory card, you'll get extra content (I know that Heaven's Night is one of the places where you can do this). I need to go back through SH3 and get the extra content.

I've loved each of your ideas for Wish House as they have all been wonderful and creative. I'm honoured to work as co-leader of such a wonderful club, with an equally (though admittedly less scary) leader.

As for Silent Hill 3, I am now approaching the hospital. First I'm going to explore around town a bit.

I bought the movie the day it came out. We had a party in the apartment that night and I put it on while everyone was drinking. Then everyone left.

I haven't played SH4 in a while. I just can't get back into it now. Those god damned dogs just piss me off so much.

As for the movie, it comes out on the 4th of September here...but I can't afford it, because I have to pay for my brothers' birthday, what with my family splitting apart, heh... Anyway, though, I'm now into the hospital, halfway through and into Otherworld Hospital. Fun fun. It hasn't actually been so bad (I hate the Silent Hill hopsitals), this one has been better and less draining than Silent Hill 2's hospital was. Even though it's the same hospital. I'ts been easier to tackle...

A question for y'all.

Which hospital was the best/most fun for you?
And which was the worst/most tedious?

I thought Silent Hill 3's hospital was the best, although I also enjoyed 1 as well, what with Lisa and all...

And the most tedious was Silent Hill 2's hospital. The worst was Silent Hill 4, though, I think. Reason being because it was just so much creepier. And I don't know how. I guess because of the fact it was just...those nurse-patient things...they frighten me...

The part I wasn't keen about in the hospital in Silent Hill 3 was when the screen was going all fuzzy in that alternate hallway after that little maze things, up the ladder... I'm sure you know the one...

I think the town was a little too short. I mean, there wasn't enough of it seen. Yet. I assume once I get out of the hospital, I'll have much more of the towns' streets to walk through?

Also... Is it me or are Silent Hill 2 and 3 a little short? Silent Hill 1 too, but mostly SH2 and SH3...maybe because I've enjoyed them most so far, I think...

Yeah, you'll be going back into the town. No worries! You'll get to see what you want to see and if you want, just take a side trip and explore the rest of the town to see the old familiar places! That's what I do.

Do idea with the metal stability!, and i would have to say my favortie hospital level was the first in Sh 1. You got really involved with Lisa and the pulzles were really cool...the only thing i didn't like was the parasites.

Personally I quite liked the Hospital on the 2nd one the most, it was just so creepy and eerie looking, mind you the hospital on the 1st is good too and sad with the whole lisa thing.

And I do feel it is kind of short but I think that is partly because most games I play take at least 30 hours. I suppose I could go through them again but there is heaps of other games out there I need to complete. Either way I am up to the hotel so I may try and finish it tonight so I can dig into Silent Hill 3.

The Silent Hill movie that I bought came with some making of the Silent Hill Experience disc. It has some other stuff on it, too. I haven't watched that disc yet. I kinda don't want to open it because of the fact that I'd have nowhere to put it, unless I just made a case for it.

So Silent Hill is here (black label, non-greatest hits version). It's in my PS2. I'm really happy that I finally got every last one of these. This has been months in the making. I have to confess that it's kinda making me nervous to play the first Silent Hill.

Why? Because the last time I played this game was back in 1999. Almost eight years. Hell, I was just a kid back when that game came out and I played it for the first time. I was 15 years old.

I've just been watching the intro over and over. It's kinda depressing. Back then, I couldn't beat the game because I didn't have the money to keep renting it. My best friend Phil and I played the game until I had to take it back. It's been seven years since I've held a copy of this game. Now I own it.

Now, it's time to beat the last Silent Hill standing for me.

The tattoo thing did cross my mind on a few occassions, but I'm not greatly sure... I love tattoo's, and I do plan on getting some, but I'm not sure if I would get any Silent Hill related. I doubt my boyfriend would love the idea too much...and he's the one that'll have to look at it everytime I take off my clothes. I try to keep respect and take him into consideration, too.

Well, it's your body and if you wanted Silent Hill tattoos (or any tattoos for that matter), then it's your decision to get what you want. You're the one who will be living with them forever. Your boyfriend shouldn't be a factor with something permanent. JUST MY OPINION!

Anyhow, to keep it on topic, I'm headed out to another town roughly 20 miles from here to pick up a PSone. I could use my PS2 for Silent Hill, but I think I'll just go get a PSone just for Silent Hill.

Right now, I'm headed for the school in SH1. I just left the church. I didn't quite brace myself for the downgrade in graphics before I started playing. I'm starting to get used to it now, though.

I feel that the graphics are part of what makes SH1 one of the funnest. I know that the great evolution of graphics in the next three titles is phenomenal, but there'll always be a place in my heart for SH1 and its boxy-animation. Some of the stuff in SH1 was just so damned creepy that it made me almost want to stop playing at times. Remember that back alleyway in the very beginning of the game? Well, if you got scared looking at that, look at how somehow the light from the pocket flashlight only shines into a specific box-shaped area. I look at that at it just lightens my heart a little bit and I'm able to move on.

You've got a point there. For it's time, the graphics in SH1 aren't that bad. They're no worse than the graphics of the original Resident Evil. It's certainly not bad enough to make me not want to play the game.

I'll agree with you, though. There are times where I just didn't want to keep going because I just didn't want to see what was behind the next door. I still haven't beaten the game, but I'll probably do so this evening or today.

Now that I think about it, if even after you play through the other Silent Hill titles first (and taking in all of the graphics) and being scared, then turning around and playing the first Silent Hill with less impressive graphics and it still scares you, that says something. That's pretty damned impressive, if you ask me.

I'm just as into the story as I was with any other Silent Hill. Maybe even a little bit more, because this is where it all begins. Plus, any...

Spoiler: Silent Hill that has anything to do with Alessa is an instant classic for me. She is hands down my favorite character in the game. Hands. Down.

Not that I don't enjoy SH2 or The Room because of that certain mentioned missing factor, because they are both classic games. I just have a sweet spot for that little girl. You guys should know that by now.

Anyway, after I beat SH1, prepare for a whole slew of theories from me and what I think about the game (along with the results AND screenshot from the end of the game).
