As for that monster on the first page... when I saw it, my life suddenly felt meaningless, I wished for nothing but death.

Then, I turned the page and saw Mr. Wheelchair and Body Parts McGee and felt that this new team were trying too hard... I'm sorry, that's just how I feel.

As for that team being in my country... hey'd better not **** Silent Hill up for me, or I'll hunt them down myself!

"Body Parts McGee" looks like a variation of the Mannequins. I think that one could work quite well. Crazy wheelchair guy...I don't know. I think those are just concept art drawings.

Then again, Travis O'Grady is a new character and these are all just products of his mind (if this story follows suit). I just found out a few characters from before are supposed to reappear in Origins, which always makes me happy.

I'm LOVING the way the scenery is coming out but I'm detesting the way battle looks. I don't like the fact that it's seeming to be really RE-ish. I'm sure were I to actually play it I might have a different opinion, but that's just where I'm at right now.

I do really like the fact that they are using the controls from RE4 for Origins, though. The gameplay in RE4 was incredible, so I imagine mixing that in with Silent Hill will be nothing short of incredible!

It's nice to see some (varying) opinions in regards to Origins. Knowing that I've hardly touched the Silent Hill series, it's good to collect the thoughts of those of you who are quite experienced with it.

Now that RE4 has been mentioned, however... how about that Wii Release?

It'll be $30 when it comes out; essentially a port of RE4, but with the graphics slightly cleaned up and gameplay smoothed out... and re-tooled for the Wii Remote! Holy freaking crap, I'm so excited about that one. I failed to mention that I've also got that one on reserve.

Not to get off the topic or anything.




I'm looking forward to Origins either way. I'll be playing that one alone at night with all of the lights off -- or better yet, in the dark at night with Elizabeth so the creepy sounds can freak the shit out of her. I'm such an asshole.

Yea, origins looks like I might enjoy it, but I'm not sure if I'll let myself consider is a Silent Hill game. It's so different. As long as the game play doesn't change very drastically, I might thoroughly enjoy this game. The story has to stay very true to the series though.

Since you brought up RE4 I am looking forward to that because I haven't yet played RE4 in depth. The Wii controls should jazz up the game play quite a bit.

Anyway... yeah... RE4 was okay, but it didn't scare me... If I'm gonna play a survival-horror game, the main thing I want it to do for me is to SCARE THE LIVING SH!T OUTTA ME! ...you know? Like strange looking creatures randomly popping out, and then you wet your pants... and... yeah. *hangs head in shame again*

*sigh* But if SH0 is able to give me a good scare, it's worth playing... in my opinion, of course...

Well I'm sure you know that they used photoshop or some other photo editing software, but other then that I'm guessing they just, put the images on there and blended them in?

Anyway, I have been craving Silent Hill 1 for a few days now and I may start again. The graphics are horrible but the story line is great, other then hospital part.

Although I have to say that the Silent Hill 2 hospital part grates on and on, although it's pretty eventful. Siletn Hill 1 hospital is as well, especially in the Other World.

Lisa Garland is the prime example! God, how I crave to play it now...

That could be it. My PS2 doesn't play my Silent Hill 1, either. It has something to do with dirt and age... My SH1 works on my best friends' PS2, though... shame, I wish he'd trade with me.

Well I used to have a play station 2, which didn't play SH1. That broke a year ago so I've been using a PS1. If I can't get this game to work I might buy a copy from my friend for a few bucks.

I just clocked 3 again... but somehow, it wasn't enough. I think I want to play through it again. I love going through the Hilltop Center. It was just so... different. Different but welcomed.

I'm not dead, and I'm not keen on the Silent Hill 2 prison so much.

We need more members here, but honestly, it's hard to find them because there are so few Silent Hill fans here... Sad...

I'm not going to be active for a further week... Why? My boyfriend is coming to visit, so yeah, 'nuff said.

Also, Silent Hill 3 just might be my new favourite Silent Hill (for gameplay, anyway. Storyline-wise, Silent Hill 2 and 4: The Room win.)

My favorite has to be the second. For game play AND story. It seems to play smoother to me. Plus, the story could plays out like a movie, it's great. Although I really miss SH4, I think that one is the most terrifying. The the ghosts always bothered me.

Spoiler: And that damn doll that if you put in your box, it would make your apartment all haunted... that really sucked.

Ghosts are creeepy... nurses are almost as creepy... but you can kill the nurses and make them go away. Ghosts are there. Forever. *creepy background music* I still don't actually OWN the fourth one... but I shall... soon. AND I'll get my SH1 back!!!!!! *evil face accompanied by cursing and fists of death*

And, on a completely off note: Chez is better looking than her boyfriend (noted from Chez's avy) and that is coming from a (very) gay man. Perhaps he would look better with eye-liner?? *waves black eye-liner menacingly at Chez's boyfriend*
