Does it take some form of intelligence to be able to discuss if a fictional creature is real or not?

My proposition to the moderators of TFF: move this thread into Gen Chat, and stop having to moderate so hard on the members who are posting in this thread the things that they want to say about it. It's where this thread is located on the forums that's the problem. Not the content of some of the people posting in it.
