Maybe I'm just too picky, but there never seems to be any good original RPs on this site.

I'm getting so tired of some of the boring and unoriginal crap that people post here. It reminds me too much of Gaia...

I feel the same but as was already said most people don't have the time. I my self have not had anytime at all but then again I could make time. Anyways....

I now have started school and I got lucky and got a comp. class that we don't do anything in so I can get on here an hour a day. I’m sorry to everyone for not being on near like I wish I should. This is like the 3rd post like this I have had to submit. Anyways just letting u all know I should be here to stay now.

Alright... I'm back. Thanks for the E-mail Ano. Now... in order to keep my self from scrolling through all the previous pages, can I get an overview of the said WAR to take place? I would very much like to throw my sword into the mix. Hopefully I can stay motivated long enough to battle through and through.

Well long story short, the BOD have challenged us to war. We accepted fairly immediatly, but I was gone for a month so not a whole lot got done. Once I was back to officially accept the challenge, there was a period of negotiation on the terms of the war in which it was decided the war would last for about a month or two, be held between five members from each clan (with five members in reserve in case of emergency), would essentially ignore most of the usual rules of the RPB section, and would result i nthe destruction of whichever clan loses, including the deaths of those characters who lose in battle.

This is all to be judged by LocoColt. After that there was about a month where we tried to get the rest of everything set up, battle grounds and what not, and thus actual fighting has only begun recently. It's a little slow right now, but I'm hoping we can take this the whole way.

Unfortunately, you weren't around when we were picking reserves. I don't know if you can participate in this war or not. Even as a reserve, there's a chance you'd never be needed. So I'm afraid you missed the boat on this one I'm sure there will be other wars here for you to champion. Provided we are victorious in this one of course.

And another thing to keep in mind, since you weren't around for all the talks -- though the losing clan's TFF branch is to be demolished, its members are still more than welcome to float around the forums. No users are actually being forced to leave, just to shut down their club thread. The RP and RPB forums are always open to everyone, and I'd hope that you wouldn't be compelled to leave should the clan lose. I know everyone always complains about the caliber of the writing sometimes, but it's tough to hold a forum full of good threads when everyone who writes well keeps leaving.

In any case, pull up a chair and watch the war. That's what I'm doing. I'm letting it run its course relatively ungoverned until it's time to close it down. The forum is read-only for anyone who is not a participant, just so you know Shelus. It's a subforum of the existing RPB forum, so you know where to find it.

Abilities: Hydro jump- Is a special move where he moves from left to the right in about 1 sec. or less. Then jump very high and come down with tremendous forces one his opiate.

Abilities #2: Agility slash- Is where he moves from one side of his opiate to the other swing his sword. Then comes up from beside them and cuts them with is sword.

Abilities#3:Agility burst- a sort burst of speed. That takes all his energy. Link circles the person and it makes it almost imposable to see him.

Abilities#4:Last stand- When Link knows he well be killed shortly. He gets all his energy together and charges his enemy (sword in hand)

Special Skills:
Telaport slash_ Link goes from front side back side of an enemy trying to cut them with his sword. It is very powerfull and help full.

History: Well no one really knows how or where he came from. They think he is from Hyrule. It is in the Deep South where the strongest fighters stay and where a lot of men go and never come back. Most the people there are strong and fast. It is said that the people born in Hyrule are faster then the gods them self’s. Some people say that he is a god and can not be killed. Others say he is strong and fast but all can be killed. The true story of Master link is that he was born in Hyrule but moves at the age of 2. When men burned his home and killed his father. So when link was older and found out what happened to his father. Link went and killed every man that took part in the killing of his father. From that day on was a skilled fight that would kill any one how got in his way.

Appearance: blond hair, long coat to my feet with a hood. Also he has black with heartless tattooed on his back. Also he wears no show he says they slow him down. Plus a scar on his face from a fire when he was younger.

Weapon(s):2 IAIDO swords -The arts of the sword as we know them today probably began with Iizasa Choisai the founder of the Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu. This school included the use of many weapons from sword and stick

It's good to see you guys keeping the club active while the wars going on. I must confess I've not had too much time to devote to the online world lately...but then that was the case even before the war.

Funny, all this activity has really stired up the mud at the bottom of the pond. There are things writhing around now that I haven't thought about in what feels like years. Hell it probably has been years. I've been making enemies and allies for awhile. *grins* probably more of the one than the other....there's certainly no end to annoying bastards that need to be put in their place.

Eh well...I'm thoroughly enjoying myself right now in the war and you lot should be too. I can't wait to see how your fight turns out.

It's almost Halloween...so do you guys have any plans for costumes yet?

Or perhaps not. Sadly, halloween is not much celebrated here in New Zealand, and it even manages to fall on the eve of one of my end of year exams. I don't think I'll be doing much but studying. :-/

I dunno. I usually visit family at Halloween and end up taking my brother and sister around. Typically end up wearing a mask for the hell of it, but its rare for me to bother with a full costume. If I end up going to any parties this year though, I've got an idea for a pretty interecting costume based off of Odin, from Odin Sphere. It might be a bit difficult to pull off though, so I may not bother. Besides, who wants to mess with a false beard all night?

Still, October is my favorite month, and Halloween one of the only 'not really a holiday holidays' I care for (aside from Saint Patricks). This will probably be a good month for me.

Well since we are celebrating Sukkot, we don't run around in scary outfits in attempt to scary old ladies and small kids(be beware from the old ladies!). Our tradition demands us to build a temporary hut (four walls and a wooden cell), to decorate and to sit in it for seven days and to celebrate events of our past.

A bit of info about Sukkot:
"Sukkot known as the Feast of Booths, the Feast of Tabernacles, Tabernacles, the Season of Our Happiness, the Feast of Ingathering, or simply The Feast, is a Biblical pilgrimage festival that occurs in autumn on the 15th day of the month of Tishri (late September to late October). In Judaism it is one of the three major holidays known collectively as the Shalosh Regalim (three pilgrim festivals), when historically the Jewish populace traveled to the Temple in Jerusalem.

The word Sukkot is the plural of the Hebrew word sukkah, meaning booth or hut. During this holiday, Jews are instructed to construct a temporary structure in which to eat their meals, entertain guests, relax, and even sleep. The sukkah is reminiscent of the type of huts in which the ancient Israelites dwelt during their 40 years of wandering in the desert after the Exodus from Egypt, and is intended to reflect God's benevolence in providing for all the Jews' needs in the desert.

I shall be running aroudn with my pricey V costume. Work screwed up last year's Halloween for me, but not this year! I just have to decide where to haunt. Halloween doesn't seem to be so big any more. Too many people worried about someone poisoning/raping their kid, or the new damn Christian stuff with making Halloween some sort of damn family night that they don't trick or treat or anything on.

Of course there is some celebrating and festivals but nothing really special.
The only thing I can think about is the ceremonial use of the four species :citron, lulav (date palm frond), hadass (bough of a myrtle tree), aravah (willow branch). The Torah requires to take all the species I had mentioned and to grasp and shake them in a specific manner. You have to do it at each day of Sukkot. We are talking about seven days in total. That ceremony can be done in a private sukka(the temporary hut) or someone's home, but usually it's performed in the synagogue during the daily prayer services.

"The Four Species are waved as follows: The first three species are held in the right hand, while the etrog is held in the left hand. The user holds his or her hands apart while saying the special blessing, "Blessed are You, God our Lord, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to take the lulav". Then the user brings his or her hands together so that the etrog touches the lulav bundle, and points and gently shakes the Four Species three times in each of the four directions, as well as up and down. Symbolically, this ceremony is a prayer for adequate rainfall for all the vegetation of the earth in the coming year."(wikipedia)

I wasn't aware of the stupidity that takes place inside the courtroom. Especially the last part - 5 POSSIBLE dismissals left, and the judge says to take an hour and a half lunch. We come back to? NO DISMISSALS. Oh, the rest of you are now free to go. GREAT ****ING WASTE OF TWO OF MY HOURS, PLUS THE 5 BEFORE THAT!

Jury duty always sucks. When you want to be held over so you get a few days off of work, it ends up just being a waste of time and you get a lousy six bucks for your trouble. When it would seriously cut into your life, it almost always DOES.

Well, anyway, not like anyone has noticed /sarcasm, but it's my bday today and I am finally out of my teens. At the same time I also feel much older than I'm suppose to be, lol. Especially when I find myself complaining about the "teenagers/teenyboppers" and how I beat them into understanding. I really need to get out though, which I will later. Too bad there isn't anything worthy of watching at the movies.

What would you suggest I do? There's hardly anything TO do once you scratch out the movie theater in my town anyway.

You could always just go for a walk. I've been doing that a lot lately. Mostly to clear my head during breaks in my study. But if it's entertainment you want; I have no ideas.

Ironic, that I speak of "breaks" in my study. The way it has been over the last few days, it feels more like I'm studying less than I am taking breaks. I keep getting distracted by things that I would give no thought to during non-exam periods. You'd think I'd have figured studying out by now, but alas. It escapes me still. =/

Ah well. One exam down, four still to go. At least I don't need to worry about where I'm going to live afterwards anymore. Yay for finding a flat.

And it was my Birthday this past week as well. Woo!

I actually forgot how old I was. Thats a very bad sign. Thank goodness for family that are more than willing to remind you just how young/old they think you are (depending on who's reminding you). Still, pretty good haul this year compared to last year, and a nice meal. I find more and more that I prefer a good meal to actual presents, and than a little time to rest and catch up on my gaming/reading.

Though a walks nice, I find I don't have any very interesting places to walk to anymore...eh well.

And hooray for finding a flat Prophet! Though I find renting anything to be highway robbery, and thus shitty compared to owning your own place.
