Yeah, that makes sense. Though when in the academy is it decided a person is a soul reaper? There seems to be tests and exams that they have to pass. That was the little bit that I picked up from Renji and Rukia's little flashback. And is there some sort of transfer or something that gives them said powers of a Soul Reaper or something? It makes sense with Ichigo becoming a Soul Reaper because it was a transfer of power. But new Soul Reapers are not going to be transfered powers, they are going to be made or something like that.

And when they become a Soul Reaper, does the Zanpukto just appear on them when they ascend to the state of Shinigami or something? Sort of like Ichigo becoming a Soul Reaper. One minute they are in their red uniform and then next they are in black with a Zanpukto at their side? Seems a little weird. I would think there is some sort of trial or something they over come to reach the state. I'm just guessing.

Rukia was curious huh? Would they really let a Soul Reaper wander around the real world because they were curious? I would think that she was there on a mission of some time, extended or whatever the case would. I wonder where she picked up her Gigai. Because she had it pretty readily the next day. They just cart them around naturally or something. Or did Urahara help her out with that like everything else.

Well how I under the way hollows work and become stronger a lot of time is by merging together. Like the Menos Grande, it is hundreds of hollows crushed and folded together to become a super hollow if you will. There are certain hollows that seem to have more than base instinct as though they are more in control over their actions than the standard hollow which is pretty much fodder for Soul Reapers. I am guessing that they had more spiritual energy and a strong soul that allow them the unique ability to be stronger and independent.

There is always going to be a ton of weaklings, because most of the population will not be that strong. However, there will be those that are naturally born with talent in that small percentage. And even fewer still that will be even stronger. Having a lot of high level hollows would not really be possible. Since it is harder to reach the level and many of them are killed off before they even get a chance to reach such a level. And then there are captains that would wipe the floor with just about any hollow almost. So if there was a time when there was a dangerous one out there, it would be dead the moment it left the safety of their realm. I imagine that most of the powerful ones remain in hiding knowing that they would easily be ganged up if needed to be destroyed by the Soul Reapers.

I saw this weeks episode, just a filler episode. Covering Don Konichi and his exploits with Karin and company in protecting Karakura Town. Not a lot really happened as fillers are by nature. I can't wait for the story to pick back up in next week's episode. I really want to see Kenpachi and Ichigo fight. And I can't wait to see Ichigo and Renji learn their Bankai, so I can see visually how the process goes about.
