I know it's been forever, but I have an announcement regarding this guide: version 2.0 is coming! Expect new, updated information, complete revisions of the old sections and entirely new additions.

It is going to take some time to get v2 up and running but in the meantime, if anyone has any questions or requests for information to be added in the update, post here and let me know.

As of right now new additions will include a basic glossary of common RP terms, a section on casual RPs, and example templates for things like character profiles.
