And I can get ROMs, easily...I just can't PLAY the ROMs while playing FFXI, which is what I need a TV for, so I can hook up my systems and play them while stuck sitting around at certain points in the game. ^^
And no Cain, I've not clue because I've never touched an actual Neo-Geo, other than that Pocket on occasion. And all I played on that was one of the Capcom games....damned if I remember which tho. >_<;

It's a Puzzle game called Magical Drop 3.
DC is GREAT for NES and Gameboy emulation (as well as homebrew games) but their SNES and NeoGeo emulators are FARRRR from perfect.Quote:

I heard there's a NeoGeo CD emulator (it's a real downgraded NeoGeo spec wise) that works great though.

Personally, I like NesterJ for NES emulation. For SNES, give me ZSNES any day.
As for Dreamcast emulation, I won't lie... I've never really dabbled in it. I did love the Dreamcast itself as a system though. It was ahead of its time, and suffered a very unfortunate fate. That saddened me. Even though I never actually owned ANY Sega stuff, I loved the company and always played their stuff at friends' houses.
(See, I did Nintendo. Chris did Sega. Matt did Sony. We had a system.)

I'm back. I was thinking to post at leas once every three days but I ran into a little snafu. You see I was busy installing and operating system and all my software on my new computer.
Gone are the days of the 500 Mhz dinosaur I have been using, now it's an AMD 2 Ghz with 1 gig front side bus and 1 gig of ram. Difference in speed is like night and day. Now that I have a system that doesn't suck and is finally up and running. Expect to see a lot more of the Wizened Old Sage of Old Skool! By the way, counseling sessions with the geezer will be starting soon so if you have any questions, comments, or war stories you'ld like to share, Dr. Ark is in!!!!
Props to my man Scorp on the joys of fatherhood, the kid looks great. I just hope you put music in his soul and make him breathe rock and roll!!!

Hmm...saving to VMU works for those DC emus, eh? Interesting much. o.O; Do ya just save'em to a disc or do ya have to get a seperate bootdisc or something? I know sometimes if you have copied games for DC you have to find a bootdisc to get'em to work. ><;

Hi Guys!....probably only a couple of you know who I am. Just to clarify for you all ( especially Arkaine...the only thing he probably remembers is what i look like lol if that! ) This is Scorp's much much better half. ;-) and he suggested I come here instead of Dull Old SU. I dunno if I qualify for Old Skooling as my favorite old time game is 'The Lion King' for SNES. Have yet to play an FF, since when I was younger my brother wasn't into it, I am starting off with KH and will hopefully get to as many as I can with Scorp's help.
