What IS Kool-Aid?

I always hear about it on TV. Is it like a powder that you mix with water to make a sweet drink? Cos we have that, but not Kool-Aid specifically.

We also don't have Pop Tarts

On the rare occasion some of the shops here sell Hershey Bars mmmm and the same stores sell Pop tarts the like to do that you know.

Also we have Gatorade and Powerade both pronounced power- aid, gator-aid so they sound similar that is all.

I enjoy kool-aid multiple ways. A little bit of vodka in it, or just it by itself.

We don't have Kool-Aid over here but it's always on Family Guy.

We do, however, have this powder that makes regular water taste better, like lemon and lime, or raspberry. I found them in Waitrose (a high-end supermaket) and use them in my lunch.

I freakin love kool-aid. With or without Alcohol. It's all I used to drink at camp. I would fill my water bottle with it and always have an awesome drink on hand. I would keep the powder in a pouch. I was still awesome back then too

I haven't mixed it with alcohol yet. I'm debating on buying some now and mixing it with the Smirnoff ice I've had stored away since my alcohol adventure/incident. Yay Alcohol!

It's basically a flavored pseudo sugar powder that poor people mix with water to create a juice like liquid, typically called "drank".

For instance, grape koolaid = purple drank

Fruit punch = red drank
