What side of the bed do you sleep on?

I sleep on the left side, its closer to the door. Any manly man knows that he should be sleeping closer to the door in case any shit goes down. Same goes for walking closer to the road next to your sig other in case any car shit goes down.

In all cases except for at her house, I sleep closer to the door for the same reasons Rowan stated. She's slept in the same spot in her own bed for years. I'm not even going to attempt getting her to give up her ass groove. It won't happen until we move in together.

I sleep diagonally. Across the bed. Mostly to keep it even between both sides since it's a pillow top. I also change the place I sleep every so often, to keep it even, as I'm the only one sleeping in a Queen sized mattress. Diagonally is comfortable.

Previously, I slept on the left side with my head closest to the door. Currently, I'm sleeping on the left side with my feet closest to the door. Eventually, over the next couple months, that will change to the right side. It's a cycle and keeps things fresh for me. It's also easier for me to change positions rather than rotate the bed. My room is small and rotating the bed is a big event. I'd much rather avoid the extra work and keep it simple.

I dun like my bedroom. There are no windows. I sleep on the couch outside my bedroom and watch Netflix at ridiculously low volumes. Metal baseball bat is metal and handy.

Honestly, I sleep wherever there is space on the bed. Between the dogs and cats that retreat to my room because they are tired of dealing with the kids, and the laptop/textbooks/gaming stuff I keep in a pile on the bed, there is not a lot of space for me to sleep. I try to sleep nearest the door, that way I can open it while still in bed, if necessary (letting an animal out to use the bathroom, for example). As for position, I always sleep with my head toward North, because I tend to feel better and have nicer days when I sleep pointing North compared to other cardinal directions. But that may just be because I am slowly killing myself due to the brain hemorrhage I will most likely get for sleeping North (Source, if it is to be believed)

My mattress is softer than I would like. It was provided for me when I moved here. I sometimes choose to sleep on the hardwood floor if I can't get comfortable. And when I nap at the office (to be refreshed after delivering papers in order to do my office work), it is always done on the shelves in the shed, or on the hard floor.

I don't know how to define the left/right sides of the bed. Like, are we looking at the pillows? If so, then I sleep on the left. I don't know why, I just went to that side the first night my partner and I shared a bed, and now it's stuck with all my stuff.

My house has 4 doors on the upper level, and two on the bottom. We have no weapons and I have no idea how to fight. So we're screwed in a home invasion anyway.

I still have a single bed. My room is too small for anything bigger. So I sleep in the middle and it is glorious. When my boyfriend stays over, I guess I sleep on the left side, between him and the wall. It sounds uncomfortable, but I'm always cosy. And I never fall out of the bed (unless you count play fights, and then I'm always ending up on the floor lol).

He has a double at his house. I don't really stay there, but I'm on the left again, between him and the wall.

When we went on holiday, I slept on the right. It was the side furthest from the Bible in the drawer. I'd have most likely died otherwise. Especially after the shit we'd been up to prior to sleeping.

^_^ it feels nice to know I'm not the only one who does that. I used to have things on my bed, but I got a desk to stop myself from having things on my bed when I sleep.

Ambient music is a must. I don't sleep well without it.
