And it's legit because now I can use MSN messanger whenever, and don't have to worry about getting charged for checking my e mail and whatnot since my internetz is free.
I have Sprint, since my brother works for them so he hooks it up
What kind of phone do you have and what do you like/dislike about it?

I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

LG KE970 Shine - Titan style (pretty long name for a crappy mobile) with broken display, the damn thing slipped out of my hand and felt from enormous height just the other day, how does it still work is beyond me. Well, that would be the one thing I like about this mobile, it has a metal casing so it's well protected.
Until I get it fixed or just buy a new one which would be smarter and cheaper I use my old mobile, Nokia 2330. The only thing I like about this mobile is that I don't need to worry about the battery for over a week.
I have the Samsung Omnia with Verizon as my carrier. Touch screen which is great in itself. I can get online free and manage my email from my phone, get weather whatever. I'm loving my phone right now haha
i dont know what i have...its a black flip phone i got 2 yrs ago as a free trade in with sprint. it calls, it text and shoots some pics. yep thats about it. i do want a blackberry curve (in purple also) like gypsy

I have a Motorola Droid, which is on Verizon (hit me up for icky, sticky phone sex). I really like it. I wish the app store had a little more stuff in it, and the pull out QWERTY is not great, especially for me, as I have big fingers, but those are really my only complaints about the phone, and one of them isn't about the phone itself.

Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
I miss my old Nokia. Cell phones were something back then. Just having a phone that was portable was enough. Now they're so loaded most people forget they're phones.
I have a phone capable of making calls, which is the only function a phone should have, considering that "telephone" literally means an instrument that converts voice and other sound signals into a form that can be transmitted to remote locations and that receives and reconverts waves into sound signals.
All the other features are trying to turn phones gay.
It was the cheapest phone I could buy when my last phone crapped out. It has too many features for my liking. I mean, why bother being able to play MP3s when you can't fit any of my headphones, and I have an 80gb iPod?
The camera is OK, but, again, why would I bother?
It sends and recieves text messages - yay! Although for some reason when I receive a whole bunch at the same time (which always happens to me), it craps out for ages and I can't do anything with it.
Oh, and it has the internet. Becuase I really need to check my e-mails when I'm walking between two places that both have computers.
Now they're so loaded most people forget they're phones.
This is why I thought the iphone was fail when it came out.
It's like "oh I have a laptop I can talk on now, perfect! let me just throw out my computer, I can't talk or text on that".
" Also, who needs buttons? f*ck that, there's so much less stress on my fingers now that I don't have to press on a key " -_-
and then I laughed at my friend who waited outside in the cold at 3 in the morning for it's release.....and how his screen is shattered because he sat on it too hard.

I have an LG enV3 as well, zomg Loaf we are twins! Is yours blue? If so that would be raaaape.
Speaking of which, Verizon is getting the iPhone now, which is some interesting news. Thoughts? Personally I think the iPhone is a POS but for some reason, people are in love with it.

iPhone 3gs, the one which doesn't suck!
What I love about it:
Basically, it does pretty much everything and thanks to it I don't need to carry a slew of other portable devices. Think:
- Phone (obviously)
- Net surfing
- Camera
- Media player (conveniantly plays all my music and video)
- Office apps for editing documents on the go
and the real fun
- Comic book reader
- Game selection (even 3D console games like Rayman 2, but some of the exclusives/handheld ports are also great and much cheaper than on their original console)
and a ton of apps on no other platform offering all kinds of things from home console online service integration, the ability to be used as a remote control, joke apps and apps offering a better interface and more conveniant access to news services.
What I hate about it:
- Apps for it have to get certified (means few emulators, I think C64 is the only one I own) or you can jailbreak which can kill the warranty and it's made harder and harder to do by Apple with each update.
- Battery only gives five to eight hours straight of power before needing a recharge if doing things like web surfing/mobile games/video at max brightness. Means I can't be gaming on it the whole time during an extended period without a powerpoint, though that happens fairly seldomly.
- Some games control terribly because of the touch screen controls, particularly some 3D shooters)
Best mobile phone I've ever owned, though I do have my eyes set on getting a Motorola Milestone later (GSM version of the DROID), mainly because the Android Market offers some great apps Apple blocked that I'd love (SNESoid probably being what I'm most looking forwards to).
I have an LG Glide. I use it pretty much just for calls and text messages and even then, not that much. I can go a whole week before I need to charge the battery, heh. I don't particularly feel the need to be connected to the world 24/7; half the time I don't even have the phone on me.
Physically it's a rather bulky phone, not small and sleek like most of 'em these days. I actually like that, it means it's harder for me to lose or drop and easier to grab when I'm fishing for it in my purse.
Feature-wise it's pretty basic. I can go online and do mobile IM if I want to but I rarely do. Extremely handy when storms knock the power/internet out. I have some music on it, it doesn't have a lot of space though. I don't have any games on it either.
HTC Tattoo, just got it actually because my old phone was pretty bad haha. Love Android phones though, its like a good version of the iPhone XD. Not really downloaded many of the apps off the market yet, other than some ringtone one so can't really say what the variety of the apps are like yet, seems pretty good though
Kinda what you get on pay as you go, and I've had this for about three, maybe four years (if you count the one that got stolen). I'm so getting a contract phone when I get a job.
It comes with...
~ A media player.
~ A radio! OMGosh.
~ 2.0 MP camera, which also video records.
~ A torch.
~ Recorder.
~ A bunch of other things I rarely use.
~ Internet... which is EXPENSIVE to use.
I only use it to send and receive text messages, and take the odd phone call. As long as that feature works, and I have some credit, all is well.

I'm still rockin' the landline phone. It is cordless though.
Don't have a cell phone, because 1.) it wouldn't do me much good right now anyway (well, I guess I could text people...), 2.) I've never been a big talker over phones, and 3.) I have a fear of contractual obligations. I guess that last one is just a problem if you decide to cancel it before the contract expires.
I did use to have a prepaid cell phone that I used just in case of an emergency, but I was never really fond of it.
I got it for free because I've been with Rogers forever and I pay my bills on time. I even managed to complain enough that I pay the same amount for my data plan as I did with my Sony Ericsson w580i. I argued that THEY gave it to ME, not the other way around so why should I have to pay more?
So I have unlimited Data Plan that should be costing me a fortune to use, and I'm paying peanuts for it. Mwahahahahaha!
I've got a lilac Samsung GT-S5600, its an okay phone just waiting for my update but not until august then I'm getting the new Blackberry Curve
bored of touchscreens for now, I miss buttons

I had a sweet ass iPhone, but it broke. F*ckin otterbox's don't work for shit. We were cutting limbs off a tree and it was in my jacket pocket. It fell out and dropped 80ft. I thought its cool thats what my otterbox is for. Climbed down and it was dead. Now I am using my backup phone. An LG Neon. Only good thing about it is that I can get on MSN Messenger and talk wit people on the go..
Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!
I have a white 32 gig iPhone. It's amazing. People always say oh you don't need this and my phone should just make calls. If you're gonna get a phone go big or go home. I can make calls text pay my bills Internet surf and play music all on the same device. I wasn't a believer before I had one. But go big or go home.
I have the iPhone 3GS. It is nice, but unless you jailbreak the thing the services are pretty pricey. It's to the point where I'll bail if/when Apple can free themselves from whatever death grip AT&T has on them.
That said it's a great phone once you swallow the price. I use it for the normal texting and whatnot, but I really like being able to surf the internet, read eBooks, and use Google Maps + GPS/compass. There are lots of other nice apps out there, and the fact that I don't have to carry around a separate mp3 player really helps.
The camera is really trashy though. Cameras on phones are bad in general, to be fair... I just don't like how the feature is touted as a plus. The photos you take will look good on the iPhone, but on any screen larger than that the images start looking pretty horrible. At least it's able to take pics at all, I suppose...
It's really handy to be able to check up on stuff away from home, or just having something to do in general. I guess for some people it would even be a necessity. Hm...
Kinda what you get on pay as you go, and I've had this for about three, maybe four years (if you count the one that got stolen).
That was my first cellphone. I remember it being a good model, too. Now it's a pay-as-you-go phone... hahaha. Same thing happened with Razrs back when they were all the rage.

80 feet. Holy crap. I have this Toughskin and it's taken a few good falls, but I don't think it could survive that sort of drop either... That really sucks.

Not very special beside the fact it has a touch screen. I still like it because it's simple.
I want a phone with buttons though. I don't like to slide it open all the time.

I've had it since November of '07, so over two years (after having my Razr for about that long before it fell in a puddle). It's been pretty solid and I can be pretty clumsy. I love the map function. I got lost in middle of nowhere Mississippi late at night (missed a highway change, didn't notice until 40 miles later) and I used it to get me back on track without having to turn around and waste my time completely. And trust me, when you're a woman traveling alone, it's nice to not have to depend on the kindness of strangers. And I travel alone a lot.
Also, no cable or Internet at the apartment. Didn't find it necessary, especially when I can just check things on this.

The kind that's crappy, old, the camera's broken, and if I really felt I could afford it, I'd probably get a new one, but it still serves its function, so... (An LG from Verizon.) Anyhoo...
iphone 3G, I haven't had any problems with it in the year I've had it. I also can't think of a thing I can't do on this phone. Seriously one of the best investments in a product I've ever made.

Reason: I forgot to talk about the topic.
It's seen better days, and I still have 4 months left on my contract, but its the only phone that has lasted me over a year, I need summat abit sturdier, it had a dun down the toilet 3 weeks after I got it and lived to tell the tale, I have to cellotape the headphones/charger in now and its missing its number 8 key, but it still works!
Imnot sure i want another ericsson though, the adaptory bit for the headphones is shite, if its not that thats knackered its the conectory bit on the headphones, FAR too flimsy
