Another good reason to have trust issues would be if you were gonna buy something, but then realized you might not want what they're selling

A good reason not to trust someone is if they tell you that you've won a million dollars in an e-mail, and that you need to send them the information for your bank account.

if they are generally jack asses to most people-friends included-but for some reason, they're being really nice to you...
Or
if they are someone you just met, and they're acting really friendly towards you.

Also, when people find it hard to tell me something, despite us being close, it falters my trust in them. One of my friends was too scared to tell me something last week, because they thought I'd throw a fit and bitch slap them. Heck, I wouldn't hurt my friends.
Oh, and when your "best friend" leaves you to pursue a relationship. Makes you wonder what ground your friendship was on to begin with, so the trust goes down.

I don't really have "trust issues", I suppose. I will say that I am careful though, especially when it comes to personal information. As for things like relationships and stuff, I try to be open and honest with everything about me. Basically, what you see is what you get. I know that there are some people who have been jaded so bad that it feels hard to trust someone like that again, but then when they do find someone who is genuine, they might miss out on something wonderful because thier past experiences have caused them to harden thier heart.

I'd say trust issues tend to arise when you're going out with a girl for over a year and a half and then one day you find a hickey on her neck that you didn't leave.
So uh, I kind of have trust issues with some girls. Other than that, the rest is common sense. I don't trust people who try to hard to be my friend. I don't trust people who act weasely, which a large number of people fall into. I would also never make a tough (non sexual) decision in front of a naked woman. Once again, common sense. I would be devastated though if one of my boys backstabbed me on something.

I go off of vibes. I normally have trust issues with strangers, so if I don't know you you're automatically in the sketch zone. If I know you meaning your a friend of mine then it depends on how close we are, if I've known you longer then obviously I'm gonna trust you more because I what kind of person you are.
