Does anyone really care? Should we care? Why does the media care so freakin much?

For those of you who have somehow managed not to hear about this, props. I would love to not hear about this crap. The story goes as follows: Last Friday, Tiger Woods crashed his car pretty badly while leaving his house. Surprisingly, this wasn't due to his Asian side, but rather that his wife had found out that he was cheating and chased his ass out of the house. She smashed up the back windshield in an attempt to "get him out," but the car wasn't crushed or flipped.

Days later, new reports and several women are revealing that he's been having numerous affairs with various women. It's also been rumored that his wife was actually the first to cheat. People seem to be more concerned with what his sponsors will do with him.

I feel bad for his kids, since they shouldn't have to be subjected to all of this crap, but that's about it. Other than that, I think that the media has more important shit to worry about. I also think that his sponsors really shouldn't care. Nike isn't paying him to be faithful, they're paying him to kick ass on the links. I understand it doesn't look good to support someone with questionable moral character, but really, what happens behind closed doors should be a private matter.

Anyone's thoughts?
