You know what worked for me? Losing the remote to my television. I haven't heard anything about this until I saw this thread.Posted by Pete
For those of you who have somehow managed not to hear about this, props. I would love to not hear about this crap.
I must admit I am quite surprised to hear about it. I always figured that Tiger Woods was a pretty straight-laced kind of guy, but then again I really don't keep up with many sports and the people who play them... (is golf even a sport? Idk...)
This sort of reminds me of the whole Michael Phelps thing, when that photo of him using a bong surfaced. He was regarded as such a hero until that happened and then he lost his endorsement with Kellogg's and he was suspended from swimming on the team for a while. I think he also had to make a public apology.
I don't think that it really matters what these people do in thier spare time. They are people, and they have the right to privacy. I don't think that the media should really cover this sort of thing either, but for some reason when a celebrity screws up, it doesn't take long for the world to hear about it. I suppose it's because most regular people (as in non-celebrities) like seeing that these celebrities can indeed screw up and makes them seem more like us.
