    The TFF Christmas Project

I had this idea (Which I kind of stole from another person. But that's neither here nor there.). It involves a movie or sound file containing Christmas greetings from TFFers to the whole community. I'll explain exactly what it involves below. My question is, how many of you guys would be interested in doing this?

    I'd need:
    - A photo of you, or some other picture. 640 x 480 pixels in size.
    - A sound clip of you giving your greeting. Say whatever you want, so long as it's not a speech.

Then I'd throw it all together into one nice movie file, and upload it to a host site. It will be zipped and passworded, so only those who are meant to see it are able to. If you could, resize the photo beforehand, but if you can't, I will for you. As for audio, you'll need a mic and a recording program such as Audacity. Or, use MSN to record a Voice Clip and save it. I'm also accepting movies now. =D

So, if you're interested, post in here and send the files to me at [email protected]. Tell me your User Name so I know who it is, and make the subject line "TFF Christmas Project". I'll make it if I get 10 or more people.

    Get to it!

EDIT: This is going to go ahead now. I hope to have it done by the 31st of December, so if you could, start sending me files. ^_^

Here's a list of participants. I'll check your name off as I receive your stuff. =D

    I'm definitely interested.

    One thing though -

My microphone's fuxed. I can continue trying to make it work, or I can record a video and rip the audio off it. The only problem with that is that it has significantly inferior quality. Like, you can barely hear words clearly.

    Sooo... Hm. ><
I've been on this site since 2006 woah

    Well, you know I'm in.

Seems that a lot of people are wanting to do videos as well as the photo/voice thing. So if that seems to be the norm for what people do, I may make one of those as well. Convenient for time-limiting as my camera only records 30 seconds at a time. >>

I wouldn't mind doing a video thing, either. I'm not sure if my mic device in my laptop is any good, but I'll give it a try.

Well, I think we've got enough people to make a decent movie. And movies are just fine, so long as you can attach them. The only problem I saw with movies was attaching them to an email. Anyway, start sending your stuff in guys whether you've posted or not! Post any questions in here. Hopefully I can get this out around New Years, or earlier. ^^

    Memorable Quotes:
    Rachel : I hear you're advanced in twittery. =D
    Rocco : PhD level. =D
    Rachel : And beyond. =D

Ann: It's like asking someone "How do you brush your teeth?"
"What's your methods of toenail cutting?" "How do you get rid of nosehairs?"

Jules: Bullshit. She thought it happened.
Rocco: It was that quick huh?

    Cilla: Closets are so hot.

    TFF vs. World's Biggest Idiots:
    Matt :
    y = X x T
    -----
    C x V
    y= -6
Rachel : For what, may I ask? Your intelligence?
    Let X, T, C and V all equal zero.
Rachel : And you'd still come up with -6, because, let's face it, you're not the brightest spark.

TOM: thought id take a pic of mine [his penis] and show u's
    TOM: its nice aye
    George: i wanan touch it

TOM: i will go ****ing hulk on your ass ok

    Rachel says:
    Quite sure.
    Hayden says:
    maybe its me
    Rachel says:
I seriously doubt that your IQ is high enough for it to occur to you that you cannot walk through solid objects.

=Lily on Freema Agyeman [Slightly paraphrased]=
Lily says: Freema is so pretty.
Lily says: I wish I was her.
Lily says: She is mind-bogglingly sexy.
Lily says: Seriously, if I had to choose between her and David Tennant, I'd SO choose her.
Lily says: *glomps Freema to death and rips her clothes off*

    Count me in.

It'll be interesting to speak to the entire TFF community all at once. I should be able to piece this together this weekend.
OLD SKOOL - A positive appellation referring to when things weren't flashy but empty of substance, were done by hard work, didn't pander to the lowest common denominator, and required real skill. Labour-saving devices, shortcuts that reduce quality and quitting before the task is done are not characteristics of "old skool."

In reference to computer games, refers to a game that had substantial playability without flashy graphics or eye candy. Old skool gamers appreciate difficult maneuvers, careful planning, and scorched earth policies.

In reference to role-playing games, old skool refers to games that tested players' wits, could kill off careless characters, and required dedication and inner strength to play. Old skool games didn't pander to the ideas that everyone is created equal, that all options are open to all races, that the markets were somehow free, and that a quasi-medieval society could have near 100% literacy.

    See also classic.
