Sleepwalk With Me

Ever since Basic, I have had nights where I half wake up, and am half still dreaming. Actually, it happened all the time in Basic; I would half wake up, see the Entry Controllers walking around with their flashlights, and think something was going on. Or I'd see people out of their beds standing at attention. This is probably partially due to the fact that we were supposed to be "night raided" every once in a while by MTI's, so I would think I was being commanded to do something. One night, I even woke up the guy next to me. "Hey, wake up, we gotta go!" And he was like "OMG!" and started to frantically try to get ready to go. I realized 5 seconds later that I had been dreaming, and I was like "No wait, sorry dude, nevermind! Nothing's going on!" But it took like several seconds to get him to calm down, and then he was like "Oh..." and went back to bed.

This morning, I had this dream that this really annoying person was harassing my buddy and I. We couldn't get him to leave us alone, so my buddy decided he was gonna beat him up. And at first, he was in control, but then all the sudden the annoying dude got the upper hand, and I was like "Oh crap, I gotta help!" So I threw a punch.... and I woke myself up by punching myself in the nose, like an hour and a half before I needed to get up. And I've been getting bloody noses, so what immediately happens? lolol.

This sort of thing kinda runs in the family, I guess; both my brothers and my father have done things in their sleep. My eldest didn't recognize his wife one night, apparently ("WHO ARE YOU?!!") My middle brother didn't recognize ME ("Who is THAT?" "That's Tom. Go back to sleep." *stares distrustingly at the upper bunk for several moments more, then goes back to bed*) Anyone else get this? Anyhoo....

I cannot think of any instances where I was sleepwalking, but I do remember having a few night hallucinations. This one is particularly memorable to me: One night I got up to go get a drink of water, and thought I saw something coming after me. I ran back to my room and slammed my head against the doorframe. Got a nice bump on my head that had an indention in the middle where I hit the doorframe corner. I was seeing stars after that.

That reminds me of the two times I saw ghosts. The first time it was this benevolent lady in a white dress who led me downstairs for some reason. The other time it was this dark cloak with no one in it that I reached at and it disappeared. Both freaked me out. *nod nod* Anyhoo...

Don't think I had any experiences like that. No one has mentioned anything otherwise it would have be had been brought up. I had night terrors or whatever that would wake me up real fast. I would sit up and have to collect my thoughts.

I used to sleep walk when I was a kid. My dad caught me at the top of the stairs one night, I was yelling down at someone or something. Nice that he caught me cause I probably would have fallen/tripped. I've always had very vivid dreams similar to what you're describing. A majority of the time they involve someone chasing me, or getting into fights. A friend of mine crashed in my bed after a night of drinking and I woke both of us up when I punched him while swinging at whatever the **** it was I was dream fighting...

I've kicked in my sleep before too, has anyone ever woken up freezing cause they kicked their comforter off the bed in a brawl? Good times.

I have never sleepwalked, just seems strange to me that something like that can happen to people. Idk though I'm a pretty heavy sleeper lol, so it may not be out of the realm of possibility.

For people that do sleepwalk, what happens once you're done? do you just wake up, or do you go back to where you were originally sleeping, or how does that all work lol.

Apparently, one weekend when David was staying over, I once woke up and tapped him awake and asked if the train had arrived yet. I don't remember what he said, but then I apparently turned over, laid down and said "...Wake me when it comes, please," and went back to snoring. I also apparently laugh in my sleep. I've woken myself up from laughing, so I know I do it. I don't do it often, from what I can gather from people who I live with, or shared a room with. I guess I have funny dreams?

About ten years ago, I was staying at my uncle's house while our kitchen was being decorated. On the second night, I dreamt up the rest of the week and woke up the next day ready to go home. Still had three days staying there, heh.

I don't think I've ever gone sleep walking. There's been a few times when I've seen things that weren't there, or thought I felt something, so I've sprinted back to my room and hid under the covers until I went back to sleep or felt it safe enough to get a drink or use the bathroom. The other night, for example, I thought I saw a little girl in my room, near the foot of my bed because of the shadows and colours of my clothes. I didn't leave the bed once, no matter how bad I needed to go. Woke up an hour later, when it was a little lighter, and it was safe to leave my room then.

Sounds like the ghosts of christamas past and Christmas future. Ba hum bug

When I was little I got up and turned the tv off on my parents who were watching it none of which I remember.
My brother used to hop in a complete daze and piss in the bath tub. I used to have a reoccurring dream where a white gloved hand used to chase me or jump out and tickle me, it wasn't the fact that it was scary just that I hated being tickled and you know those times where you are pinned down and you can't do anything, every time I had that dream it felt like that because it took me a while to wake from it.
It was bloody torture.
