That doesn't sound like the healthiest relationship to me (could be the damn Christian programming though ). Sex and sexual acts can go a long way, but they'll still only take you so far on their own. Money's much the same.

I also notice a lot of the older folks I know mentioning immoral attitudes and a lack of respect being behind the higher divorce rates and the like these days. I'm not sure I'd completely agree with that sentiment as there could be other factors involved (such as the ease of getting divorced), but I do think there's something to be said for the lack of respect part.

Some times it's difficult to judge what's right or wrong for some one else. Lots of males need and want sex. I personally wouldn't call it a "sexual act".

I'd like to think of it as two consenting adults giving into each other's wants and needs. That's how I see it, regardless of how Jenny may make it sound.

It's easy to see sex as a weapon, something that's degrading.

I believe communication is very important to a relationship. Some people believe that sex is very important to a relationship too. Some couples won't even get together if the sex isn't good, and or, periodic.


I agree with you that respect is an issue today. Which is one reason why I think things need to be considered with your own mind. It's not hard to discover for yourself how to respect others, and how to think on your own two feet. Perhaps people's inability to think on their own has lead to all these relationship problems and divorce.

The internet and the selective media has shown us, told us, how we think for so long that I'm not sure if we think how we truly think anymore.
