Have you ever been on a roller coaster before?

Yes.

What was the first roller coaster that you rode?

The first proper one (ie, not for six year olds) was Oblivion, I think.

Where did you ride this roller coaster at?

Alton Towers

How old were you when first riding it?

About 9 or 10 years old.

Were you scared or excited to go?

Both. More excited than scared, it looked amazing, but there was a tiny little doubt in the back of my mind.

How did it first feel when waiting before the line?

Boring, really. We waited about an hour or so to get on, and by the end I was so impatient.

How did it feel when first getting seated?

Both terrified and excited. I was terrified that I was going to fall off, but also excited. and, of course, happy to be on and away from the line.

Were you having fun and shouting, or were you scared and screaming when the ride first started?

Having fun, but also nervous, and the twenty second crawl uphill, before holding the riders about a hundred feet above the ground for five seconds, facing down, didn't help my nerves.

How did you feel after the ride ended?

Happy. Overjoyed, maybe. Relieved that I hadn't died a horrible death. I also wanted to go back on.

Did you want to go again, or were you too sick to go through it again?

I went on Oblivion about four more times that day. So yeah, I wanted to go again. And then I went on all the other rollercoasters.

What's the highest roller coaster that you've ridden?

No idea.

What would you say to somebody who has never ridden a roller coaster before?

You need to do it, it isn't that scary. Actually, I was with my friend two years ago at Alton Towers on a school trip. We went on Oblivion, which was his first rollercoaster as well. Just before the drop, we had a conversation:
Him:"Graeme, why did I let you talk me into this?"
Me:"Because it's fun!" Then we fell.
