We all need it, we all consume it, but how do you like it?

How do you like your water?

Are you self sufficient and drink rain water collected in a tank.

Do you just suffice with the water from your tap(faucet, not sure if un-Australians call it a tap) after all what else does your had earned rates and/tax go towards.

Or do you prefer filtered or to filter your own.

OR do you like falvoured water.


We have all three at the moment, we have rain water if we choose but our main tap is connected to a mains water supply which we filter in a charcoal filter jug.

I grew up on tap water with all the goodies like copper and other trace metals in it and whatever else they put in it before it leaves the treatment facility like fluoride etc and I am still alive.
Rain water tastes better and I have never known the difference with filtered water.

Tap water, although artesian water from the aquifer beneath my feet whenever I get near a tap. I'll be moving closer to a prominent one next year, so may get into the habit of drinking more aquifer water, although I have no problem with tap water (i.e. fluoride, chlorine, etc.). I don't have a tinfoil hat.

Basin water how good could that be for you with all the seepage from substances used on the surface ( although it couldn't be any better than what they put in water anyway).

Although in Australia we usually sink bores for agricultural usage not potable drinking water.

We use huge concrete tanks (30 cubic meter at least) with several filters, filters are mostly filled with sand and clean river rocks, separated by lattice of course. Rain water accumulated in such tanks is highly drinkable and we do indeed drink it. I like my water as cold as possible though, even in winter, some say it's not good for my health, but I have yet to experience any negative effects.

I love water usually consume about a gallon of it a day. Have a gallon jug I bought from walmart. Once I finished it I just continue to refill it straight from the tap, and drink away. I may flavor it up from time to time, with some gatorade powder, or some crystal light lemonade.

as above, gradually throughout the day, feels good,... but I definitely think people can over do it,.. its a bad idea to drink too much, you've got to nourish your body, not flush it out and piss all day

at home there's a well, so it's our water, at college? from the tap if its ok, or from big supermarket bottles

When we lived a bit more out of the way we had two water tanks that would generaly last throughout summer if the winter was wet enough and we'd drink from them. The filter had to be changed quite often as they would accumulate a lot of possum and chicken poop and I know that sounds weird but they liked to roost in the trees near the tank and would generally poop in our water supply.

Now that we live closer to town the stuff we drink tastes a bit like chlorine so it goes through a filter jug before it's used because no-one wants the taste of a swimming pool in their mouths every time they drink. I really only drink water as I can't really have soda or anything that's else too often as It gives me headaches.

Nothing like a lengthy post (for me, anyway) on the subject of water.

I am unable to drink most purified waters, as they give me sore throat, so I've been drinking from the tap, but lately that's been sounding more and more unhealthy. The bottled water seems a bit too expensive, though. I could put a barrel out back, but I'm certain our roosters (who roam free on our property) would probably defecate in or otherwise ruin, it, like they have done to everything else, the little monsters.

Guess it's tap for now? :/

I like my water how I like my women; from the tap. Or anywhere. I really don't care. Water is water. It doesn't make a difference if it's filtered or not, cold or warm, it's still going to taste like liquid nothing.

Flavored water is disgusting. If I wanted flavor in my water, I'd piss in a glass of water and drink it, and that would taste better.

Actually it's a good thing. You burn more calories when you drink cold water. I read it on the internet so it must be true!

We always have a lot of bottled/flavored water around. I'm lazy so I usually grab one of those, but I'll drink it from the tap too. Well water, well iron is good for you, haha. I do get a lot of my water in the form of coffee or tea though, especially in the colder months.
